The Commander's "I... don't know", after the assault on Kralkatorrik in episode 5 of Season 4. My main is a human male and Nolan North's delivery of that line with a broken, hopeless voice was so gut-wrenching...

Aurene’s Ascension as the Prismatic Dragon is my favourite moment in GW2, but teenaged Aurene literally eating Joko is pretty good too.

I think my favorite moment was when Old Lion's Arch got destroyed. Typically in games a zone will get destroyed and then just rebuilt the same way but for once I felt like the story moved forward. The whole city was destroyed, it was off limits, then we got to vote for the new leader of Lion's Arch.

@@stronghandhanson nahhh don’t worry, they finally made Living World Season 1 permanent and free for everyone but it truly was a different time back in the day when Lion’s Arch was completely off limits for a while. It was filled with poison gas and the twisted clockwork machine things.

Gw2 Is such a lore packed game (which is good) but I always have a hard time remembering previous story events when coming back months and months after taking a break from it. Little late to watch the recap after alreday starting EoD Story but it was good i did this. I played this story over all these years GW2 is around. So many key points i forgot over the time. Well put together, rather easy to follow and even funny :) I love that you let the cutscene with Joko play. It's hard to pick moments as favorites. As hurting as they are, i love the quiet, sad moments as they are the more impactful.

Nice video! I never understood why people say that GW2 story is mediocre... actually has one of the best narratives that I've seen in a videogame, besides, the majority of the story are fully voiced. Btw, another cool stories that you can tell is the HoT raids, specially the one of Saul Dalessio and the bastion of the penitent. :)

To be fair, the core story IS rather mediocre. It's the personal story variations what make it stand out, but "big bad guy with a horde of undead" is so common it might as well be a genre by itself.

I got this game since the beta, but quit for a very long time. Didn't have LS2 and 3, but I bought 3 as it gives content. Just finished playing LS1 and watching part of this video before starting LS3 is a great help! I even watched the base story again since I forgot about it after 10 years lol

Dude, that was amazing. Amazing video, amazing humor, nice edit. Especially the ending.... First i opened up GW2 like 6 years ago, then forgot about it, PC broke... Recently i started playing again few months ago, bought the game and i played living worlds and exapnsions not in chronological order but from order that will give you most stuff. The story for me was completely destroyed. Strongly recommend for everyone not to focus on what content gives you (mounts, golds, stuff) and just enjoy story first (if you want to enjoy story :D).

All right i hate to be that guy but i need to adress a mistake that i've been making me crazy during this whole video, first of all i want to say thank you and good job fort the work that you've done on this video, overall it's a very good recap BUT, one thing is reducing the overall quality and it's the audio mixing, at some moment i had to put subtitles because i couldn't understand quite clearly what you were saying because of the god damn loud music over your voice, so a piece of advice from someone who's been working in films for quite some time : your voice should always be at -6db, sometimes -4db is acceptable if you're speaking loudly ou shouting etc.. but you should NEVER go over that treshhold Then the music / ambiance / background noise and whatever should always be beetwen -12db and -8db never never ever everrrrrr over that threshold, now to help you do that you can use a limiter or a compressor on your audio track I hope this will come handy for you and help you improve the overall quality of your videos, i mean no offense of course, i just want to help out and, let's be honest fix a mistake that i see way too often in videos Cheers mate & keep up the good work !
