I've been thinking of playing as druid for my first ranger playthrough, so a question from a noob here; does druid's aoe healing skills also affect the druid?

im also a new player that just unlocked druid yesterday, and yes, im pretty sure all the aoe healing skills affect the druid ^^ but experienced players please correct me if im wrong.

ALL GW2 AOE effects also affect the player that casted it.

So i unlocked druid but when i weild staff, i cant use any of the skills....... why??

Need to equip the Druid trait line to your 3rd slot on Builds panel. The trait line itself unlocks your weapon skills.

In your opinion is the Elementalist Healer a good Healing option, or is Druid a good choice

The Elementalist is definitely a capable healer and there are builds that utilise it but as the Druid is almost exclusively based around healing and support, that would be my choice 😊 however, you should try them both out and see which one you prefer!

The elem can provide much more heal than the druid but the druid is more "meta" because he can provide more offensive bonnus than the elem. But I tried both and they both work well

@Learn 2 Play Just go on snowcrows to find a support druud build for pve. Sadly, in PvP i think druid can't support well (but I rarely played druid in PvP so it might bé good).

Very in depth guide, but please stop repeating everything five times. If one didn't understand something, they can just jump back 10 seconds. It really feels like you are trying to fill the video for whatever reason.

you can also jump 10 seconds ahead. Maybe its how the guy process what he says? In real life, I tend to repeat the same information sometimes because of how interested or excited I am in the topic.
