This is a good guide, but I think a lot of important things were missed. 1. You did sort of touch on this, but the main contributor to getting a lot of gold isn't the actual meta event itself, but the Chest Farm (also known as CF). If you join only for RIBA and no CF, the amount of gold you get is drastically reduced as you get fewer bags and only the loot from completing the meta, enemies, and the Keys of Greater Nightmares at the end. 2.. You mention it in the description, but I don't think you mentioned in the video that you need shovels to dig up chests to use your keys on. A key is worthless if there is no shovel to dig the chest up. This is one of the main reasons that you should do RIBA and CF in tandem. Luckily, an organized group will have shovels, but it's important to know that you don't just need keys. 3. Contrary to what I said above, you do not HAVE to do RIBA to do CF and vice versa. You can easily just go into an empty map with a bunch of keys and shovels and CF by yourself (provided you have enough). If you don't know the route, use TacO to show you the optimal CF routes. This is only if you don't want to do RIBA and already have keys/shovels. It's still best to do both RIBA + CF for topping up your keys, extra loot, and exp. 3. One of the most important points is that the longer you spend time in SW doing events, you accumulate magic find/MF (I think up to 3 stacks). It's VERY important to stack all your MF and STAY in the map when you are opening your bags. Once you exit SW, you lose all stacks and have to participate in events again to get them back. That's why most players consider the second run of SW and onwards to be more profitable than the first. TLDR; if you're running SW, never do it just once. 4. Mounts are pretty much necessary to achieve peak efficiency as you need to hit as many events as possible to get credit/loot. 5. You can see if one of the camps is about to be lost if there is a big red X on the entrance of the world map. It's important that you look out for these if you are in an unorganised group. A camp lost is a MASSIVE time loss to the entire map and your earnings. I might have missed other stuff as well, but thought I would point these out as this is what I experienced.

Excellent advice all around! I didn't mention the shovels, that's my bad! As for the Chest Train, in my mind they are all linked (RIBA, Breach, VW, Chest Train) they all flow into each other and are needed for loot. I didn't even think to make the distinction!

Wow, I just started playing again after a 5 year break. I had completely forgotten about this run. I used to do it for a couple of hours 2-3 times a week back in the day. It's the main reason that my 3 favorite characters have all ascended gear. The loot was amazing, and if you had a good zerg running, you could get really rich, really quick.

Great guide i love SW farm for new players its great place to get new armor skins and a lot of new titles ( killing one legendary boss awards with one title depending on boss , killing them all awards with final title ) ... The Bandit Keys are for hidden chests so we need them to open those chests but to dig one chest you need an shovel , the reason he sees the chests cose someone else used shovel before him and hidden chests are visible now. Usually organized Chest Farm (CF) groups have Commander who knows locations of hidden chests so all you need to do is follow him around , group will dig those chests you can help them with your shovels and doing so you will spend much less shovels and loot much more chests then going solo.

Great guide. But you missed the part about the map bonus. Every event (stack to 5) gives you a map / magic find bonus for 2h and the boss gives you a even bigger map bonus. So the loot gets improved by around 300 magic find. BUT never ever relog, disconnect or otherwise leave the map, otherwise the map bonus resets to zero again., So if you do RIBA + CF, keep it up for a few hours, not only for 30mins, otherwise its not yet lucrative...

I save my "bag of gear" (Green bag) to open on my bag opener. The normal bags (from chests and champs) can just be opened on your normal character.

In the options you can set "Dynamic HUD" I have it set to "Hide outside of combat" then when I other hit "alt" (to see all npc names) or enter combat, does it return! Makes the videos seem "more clean" with less UI all the time.

Yes! Open your bags, salvage equipment, sell everything you don't need. In GW2 gold comes mostly from selling thins on the TP. You don't really farm liquid gold in GW2. Granted if your working on an item that needs particular mats to craft. Save the ones you get, due to the TP tax cut, an item is always worth more b4 you sell or buy it off the TP.

According to people who know far more then I do on the subject, RIBA is about 20.5G an Hour, not including karma and spirit shard value. I didn't bring it up cause it wasn't the purpose of the video. If you are interested in g/per hour check out fast.farming-community.eu/open-world/farmtrain , RIBA is tech. 12th best, but everyone can access it.

The delivery of the info is as good as I've seen and even during Ida power outage, found myself scrolling through latest GW2 vids from TheSage even when I couldn't log in to the game. Took two weeks to be able to play again and surviving on limited Verizon hot spot, I watched this one limited to 240p to save on my 15gigs a month. lol.
