I remember people in the original video commenting on why didn't the last Karate dude run away after seeing what Ip Man can do. Those people forgot that during the Imperial Japan Era, soldiers in the Japanese Army were treated very brutally. He would rather suffer an ass kicking by fighting Ip Man, rather than flee, and get tortured mercilessly by his superiors later on for shaming the Japanese Army with his act of Cowardice.
