Well… let’s never forget his music anyway. I’m fine with forgetting about him as a person, not a big fan of murderers and I don’t subscribe to the “let’s pretend people were better than they really were once they’re gone, out of respect” thing. He wasn’t a great person but his music stands the test of time. Some of the greatest melodic metal in history and no one else’s music will ever hit quite the way his does.

I’ve been playing guitar for about 30 years and listening to Dissection for about 25. And this is one of my all time favorite Dissection songs. And I want you to know this is absolute perfection. I even loved all of the nuanced little changes you made to add your own flavor to the song - all very tasteful and complimentary. Excellent work my friend.

Such a passionate musician, but like a few of that time (when even I was young) the poor bugger suffered from mental health. Like Hendrix, he sought relief in the music, but the ideological anguish did him in the end.
