Man and lady dancing brilliantly in the best sections of this rumba. When the beautiful sections carefully develops to the whole dance, the very talented and very sensual couple (and their teachers) may help bring it up to top level world class. 1. lady not musical with left arm in parts of the beginning section. 2. man is far to aggressive and brutal in handling her several times. Rumba is a BEAUTIFUL dance, this negative leadership causes lady to make a number of really bad brutal head moves. For lady to move head beautifully, man must give her enough TIME, and not be brutal in his hands and arms leading her. This is not paso doble.Lady MUST GET TIME to always MAKE THE MOVE BY HER BACK, NOT HEAD, head beautifully following the back.. 3. Man dances rumba WITH HIS FINGERS first, this man does that some times and the result is brilliant, but often he is not having RUMBA fingers and hands and even arms, with beautiful rumba movements.

Since they are ranked as no. 7 at the world and just made European champ. final, you clearly miss the point - they are already a top world class for such time :D That said, they have their own interpretation of rumba and all you point out are just personal feelings. Good for you to have them, but to lecture such a good couple and their trainers is just silly.

Helge this may not be technically perfect but this performance infact beautifully portrays the true authentic emotional essence and character of rumba which you clearly have little concept about. Do take the time and investigate the history, origins and meaning of what rumba is actually all about. Because its not the lovey dovey, romantic, intimate dance of love some dancers portray it as. Much to my irritation.
