@@intifadayuri “Dias de otoño” is one I want to see but can’t find a dvd of it anywhere. Hope they do that. But my favorite Buñuel film, los olvidados, is in dire need of a restoration! I own 2 dvd copies and have seen it in 35mm and hope a Blu-ray is coming in the not so distant future! Special features could include Scorsese and Del Toro talking of its impact!

This film is so intense to get through and the topic is very uncomfortable, but it’s a masterpiece. It speaks to the fanaticism and dangers that can actually happen with mob mentality.. Definitely more people should see the movie and study it if they haven’t already..

Other Mexican films that I would like to see in the collection are Macario and Los Olvidados. Which I hope they do!

Id like to see criterion releases for two of my favorite Mexican classics , the first one is Los caifanes, which is known as the outsiders in English speaking countries, is a great film that shows the contrasts between social classes, very moody and very entertaining at the same time. the second one is called El hombre sin rostro (the man without a face) this one is about a series of murders which are somehow connected to a man, it has a very decent twist and the stetic of a noir film, and also has some magnificent dream sequences that look like something out of a Cocteau movie.

Some people are rejected at birth by society. No matter what they do, they will be persecuted for the sins of others & will always live in shame. Sometimes revolt is the only way, & it's not a beautiful thing. I met lots of pendejos in my life & the world is full of them right now. It's an honor to hear the voice of Master Guillermo! On a different note, from the bottom of my heart, really Peace & Love! I wish Master Guillermo many other great films! & Happiness for the rest of your life!

De por si el juego de Resident Evil 4 está inspirado en esta película vean la trama donde se ven pueblerinos enardesidos que matan a forasteros donde son fieles a una religión con ideologías siniestras claro a cepcion de que aquí no existe León jajaja

That's the most stupid shit I've read on KZbin in a while, and I read a lot of trash around here. Your capacity for analysis is childish, you do not delve into anything, you stay on the surface and in silly prejudices. No, a child would analyze a thousand times better.
