I played GG for maybe 2hrs total (most of it in tutorial). But I have listened to soundtrack for countless hours... I feel like it's too late to start playing Xrd, I get destroyed in a couple seconds in multiplayer and I don't even know what happened. Will give it a try when Strive releases so I can fight other noobs.

@@StridBR Yea, GG isn't one you can just hop in and play. You need hours of training mode with whichever character you like to learn how to use them, and then you will still be terrible because you won't understand what your opponent's character is trying to do or what to punish. Guilty Gear is an uphill climb, but once you start to get it, no other fighting game compares for me. It's best to start of playing with friends, and just getting a feel for how the game moves and how the moves look
@StridBR4 жыл бұрын
@@MrDeathbydying yeah, it just doesn't feel worth the time investment right now when the game averages 200 concurrent players and the sequel is coming in less than a year. I'm hoping the franchise gets the deserved attention and public this time.

he has an incredible English singing voice for a Japanese person. I thought all this time that the music was composed by a Japanese band while the vocals was provided by a Western vocalist.

I wish they let us hear what it actually sounded like in that recording and not just played the normal song over the performance.
@SlayerSeraph4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I figured it might be playback, maybe they are performing it, but they still played the song over it so it sounds better? It's also a shorter version so I am not sure. But it's not uncommon for music videos. Usually you record every part and instrument separately if I'm not mistaken, and sometimes in layers too, so not as easy to play live. Although it would be cool to do a short LIVE performance video and stream it in Premiere!
@MontyDotharl4 жыл бұрын
They were probably just miming, so there's no actual recording from that. That's how music videos are almost always done (With rare exceptions, like RatM's Sleep Now in the Fire video) so the artists can focus on whatever they're supposed to do in the video.
@madmaxiemartialartsnerd4853 жыл бұрын

Honestly, I haven't been hyped for a fighting game in such a long while. It feels great to be excited for one after all these years. I feel like this series has a lot of diverse characters so outlandish, yet so fitting for this game that there's someone for everyone-- and poc characters don't feel shoehorned in or are reduced to silly racial tropes and stereotypes. Oh, and the awesome 80s dad metal soundtrack? Fuck yes.
