If you look closely, both Sol and Ky are going extremely easy for the sake of the trailer. For that matter, I-No is also going very easy. To me, that moment simply serves to inform that she has options for almost any situation. She's not cheap though.

As much as I know most fighting game trailers centered on characters body whoever they're fighting against to give more hype. If they make it just a normal fight then people will feel that the character's boring, and I imagine not a lot of people would play a character who loses in their trailer lol. just look at what happened when that Ky and Giovanna high level gameplay vid dropped, where Ky shows off his Dragon Install- People thought she was boring because she was barely fighting at all.

GG doesn't exactly have a set antagonist since almost every character is leaning towards the neutral side. Even the bad characters do good things sometimes and most characters just do their own thing. Bedman is a good example of an antagonist that's actually a good guy but I don't want to spoil anything for people who haven't played Xrd.

@@valkyrieregalia well i think they are planning some story content in the form of dlc. Isn't this in the season pass? We will have to wait and see how they will connect that with the characters. And the fact that you dont have every character in the base roster doesnt mean they will not be on the main story.

Judging how I-No was fighting both Sol and Ky, she may be the final boss of the story. Not something new for her as she was a boss in GGXX.

That Man does not fight. He just sends out I-No. I-No's inclusion also confirms That Man's involvement with the story.

@@nepht1979 Sol acknowledged at the end of Rev 2, that That Man is trying to "pick a fight" with Sol. Even though That Man wants to save both of them from their fates, Raven and I-No parted ways with That Man. Also, That Man surrendered himself to the US government. So we'll have to see, if he becomes a DLC later down the line as his true name, not as "That Man" or if Arcsys is pulling a fast one on us before GGST drops officially (which is highly unlikely.)
