Guincho kitesurf

I just went kitesurfing in Guicho. The waves can be fun but beware: the beach is very busy with surfers every day and you have to avoid them! It’s a surfing beach really. No dedicated kite station and people to launch and land your kite. Also the beach is quite short and you have to watch out for a cliff in the middle. Remember to bring a winter wetsuit as the ocean is freezing cold even in the summer. Overall it’s not a great spot for kitesurfing compared to say Egypt or Dakhla. If you want Europe you might be better off in Greece (e.g. Paros).
