My dog thinks they are a great tasty treat to eat, and gets excited on clean-out day.

Poop. Always interesting. And fun. One of the best health indicators for piggies, too. 💩🐾

The piggies will generally bend down towards their belly to eat the nutritious type of poop, and some piggies will actually go sniffing their cage mates butts in the hope to eat others’ poop too.

My Guinea pig has had soft poop for many months. I have tried cutting down on vegetables, she's had tons and tons of Benebac, she was given plenty of antibiotics (e coli), I give her very little pellets, plenty of Timothy hay, but nothing works. She looks normal and healthy, as per my vet. He isn't worried, but it makes no sense whatsoever! The stools are very soft and the cage and everything else she touches gets very dirty. When we hold her in our arms, we need to use paper towels so we won't mess all of our normal towels. I really don't know what to do anymore.

Did you carry her to another vet? And does she eat Timothy hay, Timothy hay is really good

@@Kuromi_82727 yes and yes. I very recently managed to make it a little better by reducing the amount of vegetables I was giving her. It's not perfect, but it did make things a lot less messy.

I’m so sorry about this on my experience things that have helped is reduced veggies, less or even no pellets, Timothy hay specifically and then just time! I hope this helps!
