Hello everyone :) Thank you for always being so supportive, I haven't been as active with uploading recently and this is due to a few heart breaking reasons. I have been having some severe allergies to the Guinea pigs recently and it has made me really poorly, it is has meant that the Guinea pigs had no human interaction recently causing some issues and meaning that some very important changes have had to be made. I have not and will not be rehoming my pets but I am needing assistance with cleaning them and feeding them so that I am able to cope, as well as this some of my guinea pigs no longer live in the shed, this was to solve several issues and means that I can have someone help more with the care of the pets. These will be explained in the future but for now if you notice any changes in future videos, these are the reasons for the changes. xx

+Ellie Harman I would never ever choose to rehome any of my Guinea pigs unless I could no longer cope with my health getting worse, at the moment I am trying everything I can, they are part of the family and mean such a lot to me. However I can no longer keep them all in one space and be the sole owner anymore as the allergies are getting too much. I have also had a couple of losses recently, it's been a very hard time recently hence the explanation above rather than making a video at this very moment. x

hi, have you thought about getting a air purifier for your bedroom and piggy room? I know skinnypigs has one and loves it. hope the changes are to drastic for you. i know its hard to rehome pets.

LooBoosShedZoo Sweetheart I have bad allergies too!! I was getting so sick 😷 every time I went into the Guinea pigs room..It was the main reason I changed to fleece!! Every time I went in I would sniffle blow my nose constantly even have minor throat irritations, bad 💦👀's...Once I switched to fleece and keep the hay in a box now with a big black garbage bag so it's closed except when giving them hay...Everything stopped!! I don't cough, no throats issues,no runny 👀's,don't even blow my nose anymore!!! Please try it as Soon as you move!!!I think it would be a tremendous change to your allergy situation..Its the dust from the litter that was killing me!! At least try it before you get any 😷 worse...My Taz was inherited as you know and then I got Rocky that's when the allergies went nuts..They were moved into my art room which was a smaller area..Taz was living in the living room it didn't bother my allergies then at all... Until they both went into a smaller room!! Also Mother inlaw tongue plant 🌱 & other plants are great as humidifier 's...Try getting you some of these plants they have one we've always called it a airplane plant that's not its name... I can get you a pic of it..It would do great in the shed!! (You wouldn't want moisture like a humidifier in the shed...)Since you keep the shed warm during winter months it would live great!! Also that small compacted space they are in can be the culprit of your alllergies..I think if they have more space and use fleece..You know how to sew all that stuff so it would be easy for you to have enough made up when you move to change over to the fleece...I really feel the outside shed and all that dust in the air is your problem sweetheart..Its worth a try to change that way you don't have to give up your love of the piggies!!! Wishing you nothing but the best!! I'm a pro when it comes to helping tame the allergies!!! I use to get Sino-Bronchitis what that means... I would get a sinus infection from my allergies then it would go into Bronchitis!! I dealt with it almost every month for several years till I learned how to control my allergies.. I do take a generic over the counter Claritin every day year round...That's all I'm on anymore!!! Message me if I can help..You would hate it if you have to give theM Up and then realized your allergies with them can be controlled...I think if you get out of the shed a larger area with air circulation and use fleece you would be fine!! Hello everyone, KZbin has been in my life for a few years now and I really enjoy it.. I have owned guinea pigs for a very long time and love sharing my opinions and ideas with you all. However, I recently encountered some negativity by a certain Guinea Pig KZbinr, who was answering my comments stating that everything I do is wrong and it really got my down.. with my health worsening it really pushed me to stop filming for a few weeks, the negativity was really getting me down and the stress of being allergic to my precious pets was heartbreaking. I have recently done everything I can to try and accommodate for the pets the best I can, the females have been split due to some herding issues and are living in a different area in my home, this means someone else takes the majority of responsibility for this group making things easier for me in the shed but also meaning that they are still my pets and still living in my home. I have been dreading sharing this news as I could predict the negativity it would attract even though I have only tried to do whats best for my pets. Today I took the plunge and uploaded this video, but immediately I was faced with someone stating that my 12ftx2ft cage was way too small for 6 guinea pigs and should accommodate no more than 2 guinea pigs, yes it would be great to have something larger... and I am currently working towards that, but they are not suffering by being in a cage of this size and it meets the guidelines recommended by the RSPCA. I am also receiving comments that pellets are unhealthy and that I am killing my pets by feeding them these, I have been feeding pellets for years and I am very experienced in what is healthy and unhealthy for my pets. Seed mixes work for some people as do a natural veggie diet, this does not mean that pellets are wrong! Yes some are unhealthy, but if researched thoroughly you will find that not all pellets are rubbish! I am confident that pellets have kept my pets healthy and happy for years, I have not had to take any of my pets to the vets for years (apart from normal scheduled check ups and unrelated diet issues like cancer). I personally do not want to use a seed mix or muesli mix and that should be acceptable, I should not be spoken to and treated badly just because my guinea pigs have pellets once a day.. they are healthy, happy and well cared for and this should matter greatly. The immediate negativity has really made me think recently, and although I love making videos and sharing on KZbin, I am really not sure if it is wise for me to continue uploading... Quitting seems so odd for me to even suggest, but I can no longer stand everyone saying that everything I am doing is wrong when I am trying so hard. Suggestions are fine and I am happy to accept them, but pure negativity based on one fact rather than thorough research is really unfair. I won't be uploading for a while now and will really be considering whether it is worth staying on KZbin. But thank you to those of you who spread positivity and happiness amongst the pet community and are supportive and kind, it is always much appreciated xx

Oh my goodness I certainly don't think your 12ft x 2ft cage is too small for 6 guinea pigs, that is 24 square feet of space and does meet the guidelines. For someone to say you should only have 2 in there, really makes me question this persons knowledge and for this reason I would take everything they say with a grain of salt. You have so many supporters but I do know its hard to ignore the few negative people that we all get. Hang in there and take all of the time that you need but please know that you have many supporters here!

I totally agree with everything Valerie said! We all know how much you care for your animals & I couldn't have said it better than Val did, that whatever they say needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. Sadly it sounds like you've come across a bully, if I were you I would try to ignore the negative comments. They evidently haven't researched correctly.

What a lovely tidy shed! I use easy bed after seeing you use it months ago, I love it! I didn't know you had allergies, my mam has the WORST allergies, we think it's mostly the hay but I have a cat and dog too and she gets really poorly when she comes to stay - I don't live near her so when she comes it's usually for a weekend or a week or whatever. It's hard because she loves my pets, I can't imagine how hard it must be for you! I hope you feel better, my mam gets an inhaler to use just for visits 😊

Thank you for being so supportive, it's been really horrible. Thankfully I am trying to cope so that no pets have to re-homed, but I have had to move some out of the shed and I need help cleaning them out and cannot always feed them due to getting so poorly. I'm just hoping I can continue to manage this way xx

I am not too sure on where to get fleece from unfortunately, but if I ever see any good recommendations I will get back to you. Unfortunately I cannot afford to send any items out, I tend to give my unused items to a friend or a rescue so that they aren't wasted xx
