Nissan Middle East FZE has sped into the record books after extremely brave driver Masato Kawabata (Japan) achieved the Fastest vehicle drift ever at a staggering 304.96 km/h (189.49 mi/h).

drift is physically slower on normal turns because it has less grip than normal turning. Only time drift is faster is certain touges and RALLY RACING which has pretty crappy grip cuz its dirt :)

I wish we could have seen the drift a bit clearer. It shows a bit of the car sideways and a load of smoke but it would have liked to see the drivers point of view and maybe a birds eye view of the drift

I think the Nissan gtr is the most beautiful car ever built. You have to stand next to one to get what I mean and I've stood next to a lot of classic and modern cars. A modern work of art would be an understatement.

It's a bit boring that the ruleset isn't made so that they have to take a curved turn. Obviously I don't want to see a person going 350km/h, drifting into a curve cause they'd probably fkn die. But I wanna see how fast someone could realistically go while still drifting a curve.
