You Jianxia from China has recently had her long eyelashes remeasured. She first became the record holder for the longest eyelashes back in 2016 but since then, her eyelashes have grown an extra 8.1cm!

It's just a genetic mutation in her hair growth, most hair has a stopping point, hence why most peoples eyelashes stay short after being cut or some people can't grow out their beards. The gene stopping her eyelash growth at a certain point stopped working/didn't activate or any other reason. There's definitely more to it and I may not be totally right but that's the best I can do.

It's not eyelashes but, I remember when I was a kid, I pulled one strand of my father's eyebrows, cause It was white. And he was Soo angry at me, he said he was trying to grow It, and that he had It since his childhood. It was about long that It went midway till his nose. And I pulled It- and I don't know anymore what's happening these days. 👁️👄👁️
