GUITAR 39 - Update Valeton GP-200 firmware (1.5.0)

Even if my faithful friends know me better for my "experiments" about NUX devices, I have been using some other pieces of gear, one I really like is the Valeton GP-200 which I also preferred above the NUX MG-30.
Valeton just made available, as a Christmas gift, the new firmware 1.5.0 for our beloved Valeton GP-200 (even for version GP-200LT and GP-200JR) multi-effect pedalboard.
Some new distortion effects have been added, together with a new Amp Spring reverb and a really welcome "Dual Echo" that makes it possible to reproduce some iconic tones by The Edge, Paul Gilmore, David Bowie...

1.5.0 software crashes on Mac Catalina. Many people have this issue and so have to revert back to 1.4.0.

Thank-you very much for your feedback, sorry you get this trouble, I am gonna pin this comment on top di we can collect compatibility issues. I tried on a M1 Mac both with Ventura and Sonoma without any issue. Could you write to Valeton support to make them aware? The more feedbacks they get the highest probability for them to fix it

Same here. I just got the GP 200, and I also run Catalina. The 1.5 version crashes while loading, so I had to go with the 1.4 version, which runs normally.

Hi During the update my gp 200 became disconnected from my computer and I can't connect to it now. Is there anything I can do? The device screen only shows information about the update and does not turn on. Please help? (Written with a translator)

Problem solved, if something similar happened to someone, the USB cable was damaged and did not want to connect the Gp200 to the PC.

Доброго времени суток . Спасибо за обзор . Хороший за свои деньги. Процессор Valeton GP 200 .Только вот жаль Что там нет умного гармонизатора ,в котором можно было бы устанавливать тональность.В том гармонайзере который там установлен , невозможно корректно настроить терцию.Было бы очень хорошо , в следующих настройках . заменить гармонайзер на более умный .Спасибо

Thank-you for your feedback. Dual echo is very interesting, the only drawback is it only works as espected in stereo

Yep, it also works in mono. I am sending it directly to my cab from the left/mono output and it sounds well. No spatiality of course

I don’t what to do I downloaded the software 5.0 and my device is still on 3.0 and I can longer log in to software to update to device and whenever I delete to redownload software 3.0 it won’t let me whenever I click the software (5.0) it will not run
