Guitar Amp Modeler: Power Amp vs FX Loop

The input of the amp means preamp not power amp right ? Im going to buy the katana 50 but dont have fx loop , but i dont know if it will sounds good into the power amp from behind 😀

In your case, you would input as normal through the guitar input of the Katana. In my case, I was purposely using the power amp of the Mesa because I had a separate preamp/amp modeler

@@usedguitargearmodsmusic5628 for amp modelers will not sound right into preamp from front , u need fx loop , but the thing that the 50watt version has only power amp from behind so maybe i should try if it sounds good

Power stage sounds better , but Have u turned off the cab ir into the fractal with fx loop experiment ? 😀

I have but only when using a physical external cab or a third party cab ir on my computer. It sounds thin without any cab coloration

@@usedguitargearmodsmusic5628 yea what i mean that u have turned off the cab into fractal ? And using the physical cab here and miced ? If yes that means with power stage sounds better than with the mesa amp or any tube amp 😀

Hey would u happen to have an extra cab u don't use, u currently have a amp head but gonna take me a year to gather 200 bucks need one that can handle 150 watts and 8 ohms if u can hel I appreciate it
