1. If your sand was straight out of the bag it wasn't dry. It has to be completely dry. I put mine on concrete to suck out the moisture. 2. You stopped pouring in the middle of it. As soon as you stop pouring the sand will cave in and you'll have a failed cast. 3. You used a piece of aluminum for your pouring cup... It melted. That's why I used steel soup cans.
