My experience with cab IRs has not been a good one to be honest. I tried out quite a few and found the best sounding ones are yours's Jason. For me personally, I like the sound of a real miced up cab. With IRs I feel like something is missing in the sound and tone.

I've been almost exclusively recording with plugins and IRs. NADIR is a good one, and I've also been using the Neural Amp Modeler, with profiles of Orange Amps and Speaker Cabs, along with profiles of Shift Line Pedals and Cabs.

Just call me semi old fashion, I plug into the GFI Cabzeus cab sim, from my Orange Micro Dark (using the phones out), from the Cabzeus into my interface, then into my PC. I have had little to no luck with software with CIR's maybe because I use Sony (Magic) Pro Studio as my DAW. Its so simple to use to me vs Ableton or Reaper. Good video and I actually got the proper definition to an IR which is not really defined on the internet too well. Great tones from your plug ins. I have a couple, but the DAW I use doesn't do a good job with any plug ins I have tried to use. Thats why I use the Cabzeus, its easy to use.

I’m still pretty new to IR’s so I’ve tried just keeping it simple, I just use Ignite NadIR which is free and mad easy to use, for the actual IR’s I’ve stuck to a couple packs I got off of the official Celestion website, my go to’s are a 4x12 Orange cab with greenbacks or V30’s, an Engl XL 4x12 with V30’s and a Vox cab with Blue speakers, nothing fancy but they get the job done for most things

IRs and Cab Sims in general are just not really productive for me. Often times I have to change the sound a lot and do a lot of post production. What sucks, because I want to make music and not be a recording technician for hours on end. So I tend to basically just use real amps for recording. It's much faster and statistically I get my sound done just in a better way. A simple SM57 and a good Speaker will sound better than some VST 100%!!! But if it's about getting something quickly recorded, then amp sims and IRs are a good option to get it done fast. However, tone wise I always couldn't achieve the same sound that I can get with my real amp (Gibson SG / Fender Strat -> Marshall JTM clone -> Orange 4x12 with Jensen 10 inch Speakers and G12 K100). Amazing Sound. The Amp Sim or IR could come pretty close to the real deal. And I sometimes recorded full songs that way. But then out of curiosity I began to record them side by side (amp sims and real amps). And the real amp recordings always had that special something. The noise was better. With that I mean that the noise sounded more pleasant. Furthermore, the room sound sounded real and authentic. And something about the interaction of pedals and a real amp is different. Pedals into an interface sound like shit.
