323.2 is definitely possible. I was down 8 ticks at the first activation. I didn't get full ticks from the BO sustain before the RYO star power sustain. It's possible, and not much harder, to have 8968 after the RYO sustain. I had a fantastic last activation, probably the most ticks I've ever gotten, however there are still more there. I didn't drop any ticks doing early whammy on the second activation, and I didn't drop any ticks in the solo, so that's good. This is not easy to do, but I got a 323,1xx score probably close to 10 times before getting this score. I got 323,168 4 times, but I really wanted to get global first. I really want to get 323.2k. I still don’t understand how ticks work. I know the only things that can change your score is squeezes, when you activate SP and ticks but I don’t get how ticks work.

So ticks are the points you get from a sustain note. You get the 200 points for hitting the note, then you get points for holding out the note. Every tick is worth 1 point, but if you have a 4x multiplier it of course is worth 4 points. So, if a star power activation ends on a sustain note, it's best to squeeze as hard as possible in order to have star power end further into the sustain, giving you more ticks. It's also important to hold out every sustain note to the very end so you can get the most points from it. If you let go early, you lose out on points (ticks).
