I'm continuing playing through some other GH demos- I want to do all the demo songs that you're able to submit scores for on Scorehero, just because. I just finished up the GH2 OPM demo, so next in line is the GH3 demo. Unlike GH2, every song identical to retail in this demo. The same goes for every subsequent Guitar Hero demo, to my knowledge, at least.
Squeezing GH3 is always a blast, and surprisingly playing with no hyperspeed really didn't take a ton of adjustment. This game is so reliant on muscle memory and precise timings, none of which really rely on hyperspeed too much. To drive this point home, this is tied for the highest score I've ever gotten on this song on retail GH3, and this only took me three tries. Maybe no hyperspeed is the new meta???

i can def see why they chose this venue for the demo, it's up there as one of the best in the series imo visually it is a little cursed though seeing a tier 1 song here

Time flies- im looking back at guitar hero because when I was younger, it's all he would play and it reminds me of him, me just watching him like dang he's cool😂 I wish I could do that, I was like 4, I'm 14 now and I still haven't ever played, but yeah it brings back memories

I just realised something.. Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is the only guitar hero game that has each of 'The Big Four' songs (Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, and obviously Megadeth.)

Nicely done, i honestly don't think i can get use to no hyperspeed no matter what lmao. I recently played GH Arcade and i couldn't get use to it so i used my hat to block most of the highway for the cheap hyperspeed lmao.

I haven't played a GH Arcade machine in like a decade, but I have very bad memories of it. Horrible calibration, the guitars felt awful.... no hyperspeed is just the cherry on top

The guitar sadly was the big letdown, couldn't really do solos with how hard it was to slide, and it overstrummed as well, which it did cost me an FC on reptilia on the last note lol.

Oh god seeing you without HP in normal play [besides titles that don't have it] is somewhat cursed. To be honest tho i do it alot on RB games since i think Breakneck speed is too fast [its more adjustable on most GH titles so it ain't a problem] It does help that i slowly memorized most RB songs i play.

The one I played on was actually a rip of the Kiosk demo of GH3. They're all the same, but the Kiosk demo doesn't have those annoying advertisement splash screens after the stats screen.

This demo was available to download from Xbox Live back in the day. It was also included on disc with Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.

I think they need to remaster the guitar hero franchise for the current generation the PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and Switch. Some of them were only on specific consoles like the original guitar hero game was for PS2 only. So the original remaster would be a PS5 exclusive. Guitar hero 2 would be exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series S/X and from Guitar hero 3 on they will be on all three consoles. For the digital copies of the game they just put a download voucher with the guitar that you purchased. for physical copies it would remain the same as before.
