@@thetroopergames3091 you mean "original difficulty"? like the one they develop the mechanics around? well it changes between games in GH3 i imagine it is the hardest one so you are kind of right, normal should be the song at its maximum note fidelity, the easier ones are abbreviations, but in games like DooM it is the one above "easy" because the gameplay cycle goes around the metrics made in medium difficulty.

@@meta04 yeah it's comparatively easy on expert. What's funny though is that ignoring all bonus songs, this is actually the hardest song in the game on medium. Verse 2 is horrifically overtuned for a tier 7. The song isn't as mis-tiered as Lay Down, but it's definitely the hardest one in the game on medium.

@@meta04 It's not called Verse 2 officially, but I consider it the second singing part. It's where the somewhat tricky HOPOs start on expert. That part is vicious on medium. Your average hard/expert player isn't going to have any issues with it, but it was the one song on medium that took me more than 2 or 3 tries to pass when I was learning the game. I think I spent like 15-20 attempts on it and was about ready to throw my controller across the room lol. CoP, Raining Blood, One... cleared all of those first try on medium. But fuck the medium version of this song lol. Edit: And yes, CoP's solo is absolutely brutal on expert. I have similar issues with You Can Still Rock in America in WoR for some reason, even though it's slider notes.

I could beat this on expert. However, I was never able to fc or come close for that matter. There aren't any crazy solos or anything. But this song will test your endurance like none other. It's not that any one part of this song is overly difficult. The quick strum "Misirlou" looking part in the begining baits you. But you don't realize it until you get to the "galloping triplets" and you can't feel your hand anymore and can't even hit consecutive notes. That's when you realize why this song is in tier 7. "You and I must fight to survive" fits this so perfectly.

This was one of my last FC's in like 2012 before selling my Xbox 360 in 2013 The second half of the song, while hard for some, was always naturally easy to me. The problem was always overstrumming or mistiming a strum in the three fast alt-strumming series. I'd usually do well on it, even get gold stars on the song but no FC before I finally had a lucky run where I didn't overstrum or miss. I believe my score was around 510K because I didn't really care too much about perfect squeezing just using the preferred star power path and FC'ing.
