Hi just like to thank you for your video of Pancho and lefty - always loved this song but never thought I could play the solo - thanks to you I can

The best instructional video ! You really take time to break it down. I like the FACT that you name the chords, scales, show alternative styles, and emphasize that this is a means or method of covering the solo of a particular recording using multiple instruments. I have tried to teach friends to play with emphasis on style, technique, theory and improvisation without imposing strict rules of replication. It is quite clear that the KEY = D. Knowing this, D Major scale will always work along with the Pentatonic Bm blues scale. I also like the triplets, triads and slides that you add. I wonder how would Jimmy Hendrix, Dickie Betts, or Jeff Beck play the solo ??!!

bro, I watched the first 50 sec & realized this wasn't the vid for me as I am just trying to learn the basic chords & strum of the song. You obviously have nailed...it sounds good & I know this song well. Good job brother & I hope some days long away I play this as well as you do...

your licks are good but your narration is a bit confusing, especially around the 12:57 mark. However, I love the lesson and thank you for posting it

Thanks a lot. Great two lessons. I can't figure out the chords on the run that leads up to the solo. I've got the Bm to G but I can't get past that. If you could post that I would be most appreciative.

when I was young, 5 years old I fell on a milk bottle playing mud pies as I filled a bottle with water and fell on my back door step and cut my hand to the wrist cutting ligaments in half to 2 of my fingers small two, with the third finger and other two small fingers and ligaments scarred...and have very limited stretch so I have to adapt all my playing. Its good to see it done properly and I wish I had the natural physical ability to reach notes in standard ways and have flexibility and dexterity, but God gave me a nice voice and I think I sing well though:)

Hi, great video ! It'd be nice, and easier for me if I could have the tab right in front of my eyes. Thanks a lot !

Still haven’t got it locked down yet, but that’ll come with practice. The tutorial is great for someone like me that can basically only play chords and doesn’t know scales 😂

Honestly, your effort is VERY much appreciated... However, a TAB is essential, please...ESPECIALLY when there are mistakes, "sorry", "wait a second," on the instructor's part. You will have LOYAL DISCIPLES if you can "go the extra mile" by contributing tabs, please. But, overall, again, THANK YOU!!

Anyone attempting to learn this should not need to be told what frets to hit. Should have knowledge of the the fret board before even attempting this solo. Not for beginners
