I love that hammer on on the B7. I think I even mentioned that, when you were teaching a song with a similar hammer on. What’s you favorite sounding chord? Mine changes often. I was into the one that starts in the song around the bend by PJ I like that sound. I’m always into the C major and A Minor. I heard a funny story about Paul Mcartney having to take two buses to a town, where his mate showed him the B7 chord. The Internet sure has changed things lol. RIP Scott Weiland!
@RyanLendt6 жыл бұрын
haha one time i was working on a song of my own and I couldn't find the chord I wanted, and proceeded to have a dream that paul mccartney told me to try Am7. I did, and sure enough it was exactly the chord I was looking for :) I think just good ol' major chords are my favorite.

Great job Ryan! Super informative lesson. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but would you be able to post a video of you playing through the whole song? I have everything written down and am playing through but feel like I am messing up the strumming pattern on the pre-chorus. Thanks in advance!

super glad you found that helpful Derek. I give you permission to strum however you like. As long as you switch chords at the right time the strumming will fall into place with time and feel :)
