Could you teach us how to play I’ve got a feeling like pearl jam on the wrigley field?
@RyanLendt6 жыл бұрын
I've been listening to that and wondering how exactly it's done - it's different than the time they did it on a bootleg I have from like '92. I'm excited to find out :)

Really great lessons! A zoom in on the fret board would be helpful to me. Also, we share a love of similar music. I would love for you to do "Is it like today?" By World Party. It's a tiny bit obscure, but it's one of my favorites! Thanks!

Heya Julie! I'm glad you liked it, and thank you for the suggestion... maybe I'll tinker around with how to do that at some point. Or maybe I'll just try to shove the guitar neck in front of the camera more :) I'd be very happy to put that song on the list for you - ALL songs on the list WILL get done, but I can't promise when... though I will say I'm very curious about this song you like so much!

Something funky is going on with youtube... i'm trying to search your channel to see if you've done Just Breathe... but it won't search... sooo did ya do that one?
@RyanLendt6 жыл бұрын
nope :) youtube is not lying to you. That's one of those ones that I know how to play 75% of but the last little bit is going to require a bit of practice... so I'm saving that one for philly :)
@kvstrickland6 жыл бұрын
Ryan Lendt fair enough. You are going to be like the Fresh Prince of Pearl Jam in Philly.

Love Once the movie...kinda like an Irish Singles....in a lovey musically epic way.
@RyanLendt6 жыл бұрын
I do too. have you seen that one subtitled movie where the two people meet by accident and walk around talking for 90 minutes and it's the second most compelling stretch of nothing happening (second to jordan spieth at the british open last year navigating his drop)??? I don't know what it's called, but there's even a sequel!
@kvstrickland6 жыл бұрын
Ryan Lendt what are ya talking about .... give me more to go on.
@kvstrickland6 жыл бұрын
Ryan Lendt what language is it in?
@RyanLendt6 жыл бұрын
I have found it before going on that little information... I think it's in french. Or spanish. Or italian. There's a train involved. they meet on a train or someone misses a train so they meet. They don't end up boyfriend and girlfriend or anything. They just talk and walk. And there's a sequel where they still don't end up boyfriend and girlfriend or anything they just do it again years later.

by the way this is basically how much I know about everything other than guitar and golf. Ruthie gets so frustrated whenever she asks me questions expecting a real answer hehehe :P

Maybe like a Soundgarden song like (pardon my language) Big Dumb Sex or Mailman because even though they're both incredibly inappropriate especially for my age, they're pretty cool songs instrument wise. Or if that's too heavy there's always Wrong Side or Sunshower.... Just a few suggestions. And thanks Ryan for always replying, not many KZbinrs do that

The second thing is just the natural position for doing a shiii so some people prefer to squat than sit - I'm guessing it's not allowed because the dirt from the their feet makes the seat grim :p
