So, loved this sing forever and tried sporadically to learn it but always failed. I have discovered your channel recently and become a big fan due to how you seem to make some of my favourite tunes somehow accessible to my very limited skill set. Happened across this tutorial and - bang - instant progress. I'm still clumsy and my technique is terrible but due to your excellent video I now know the core of the song and it's just a matter of practice makes perfect. I'm not sure how you do it but huge kudos and thanks to you.

One of my favourite songs of all time - thanks for making it easy to understand. Will take me a fair bit of practice to make it sound decent but the foundation is there at least.

Good job man. I like how you get straight to the point. Usually people will sit and talk and the video ends up being 20 minutes long almost and nobody want to take 20 minutes for a 5 minute song. I just watch lessons to watch them honestly unless if I don’t know how to play it that’s when I learn. I haven’t given this song a lot of thought to play but now it’s in my head after not hearing it for a while

What a fun song to play. Thx, Ryan! I don't know if you've tackled these yet, but Stone's solos on DtE and BoJ are on repeat right now. So if you haven't already, it'd be awesome if you could go through those. Thanks again!

Easily one of the best album openers ever (I know it's led into by "Doll" but it's always felt like the opening track to me!). Excellent lesson Ryan. What have you to your elbow?

@@RyanLendt I hope the tendonitis heals soon! Also PJ were the leaders this year for record store day, so I pretty much had to go haha. They released a vinyl from when they played a short gig at one of the local record stores "Easy Street Records" in 2006.

I'm a couple of days behind on your channel...forgive me I was rocking hard all weekend. Friday night saw the lead singer of Our Lady Peace and his wife an amazing soloist.... I don't know if those two made it in the USA... OLP were a very cool Canadian alt rock band back in the 90's ... together these two did a cute keyboard and guitar set. Moon V. Sun... ( Raine Maida & Chantal Kreviazuk) .... it was in small club... I took Paddy as it's more his vibe... was outside chatting with people after the show... and they came out and talked with us for a few minutes... very cool. I had meant to ask her to confirm a story... ( I forgot cause she was so pretty and sweet I got distracted). ... Back in the day it was said that they first met while at a Pearl Jam show in Toronto... I wanted to ask them this for years... blew it... everything comes back to Pearl Jam!! In the theme of PJ... have you seen Ed's Skype call with EasyStreet for RSD? kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXbJkqeFoM2GhJI

why thank you! that's the schecter PT my mom got me for christmas many years ago, which I have replaced the pickups, tuners, and neck for so it acts and sounds a bunch more like eddie's main axe for all those early years.

Well, it's 4:16am and I'm tired but I made it to the event and met who I wanted to meet but it seemed like a dream where all the pieces seemed to fall into place, but I definitely was a "Wildcard" to the people I met at the event. And "The Gingerbread man" was not happy with me. It's not the right time to give more details, but I hope to give you full details soon.

One time when I was seven years old, a psychiatrist came to my house to observe everything that was going on and was blasting monkey wrench on my CD player and my mom got nervous that it was going to bother the psychiatrist so we had to turn the radio down and I was telling the psychiatrist that it was too loud and the psychiatrist was inferring that it can hurt people’s ears.
