Huge help! ain't no Marty Music for any pillows songs. Also I found a good compromise for the alternating e and B appregio that plays throughout the verses is to strum the chord going into each repetition; you get less strums and it's a little awkward when it abruptly changes up for the Am7, but I feel like I'm getting a fuller sense of the song when played with a solo guitar

Quick correct: The Cm7 is actually Cmaj7. Also this might be taste but I think Dm7 sounds better for the Am7 thing (you'd add 6 fret b string to what you got). Great vid

I don’t know the finger placement for the power chords😅
@Kale_shreds9 ай бұрын
It’s hard to explain but think of a power chord as playing the root note and the 5th note of the major scale at the same time. Use your index and ring finger to fret the root and the fifth, then add your pinkie to play the octave on the string adjacent to your ring finger. If that’s confusing (which it probably is), there’s gotta be a video out there that can show you what I’m talking about. Use your ear and best of luck!

Hey, I'm confused on how you're playing your Am7 chord, it sounds quite different on my guitar and I can't see your fingers completely
@Kale_shreds2 жыл бұрын
I play the Am7 chord by barring the 5th fret and using my ring finger to fret E as the root note. This is an inversion of Am7 since I don’t use the lowest A for the chord. Hope that helps!
@varunramakrishnan7676 Жыл бұрын
@@Kale_shreds Oh yeah, I can hear it now. Thanks for replying! I'm still a beginner at guitar so I didn't consider that it could've been an inversion

@@Kale_shreds Btw, why not just play the A barre chord since you're already on the 5th fret?
