I don't think that's the first time this guitar has been on GOTD. I remember Agnesi doing either this guitar or one identical to it. I don't suspect there are many 61 LP SGs out there with the folding trem. I could be mistaken.

Seeing Todds pose, made me think you guys should do a 2020 calendar, to raise money for the midnight mission. Each month can have the staff or famous customers with their favorite rare guitars. The guitar specs can be in the info under the picture, you could also have QR codes in the corners so that people can link to the associated youtube video clip.

SG distinctive in every way, iconic ACDC Doors Santana, wide open grunge, clean, clear, resonating crunch like no other. Thin mahogany body and PAFs wide neck. Every collector's dream.

Nice to see a gtr presented as “1961” which is actually a 1961 build, not a reissue of that model. I’m tired of people (MA?) not identifying reissues as such, just calling them by the year they were modelled after. Lovely axe.

It’s so easy to forget what the good stuff sounds like, why I watch this in the first place, and why I aspire to own a vintage LP. Simply unreal. The swagger lick in Got Me was like a shot of adrenaline. Lemmo’s not bad, either!

Not sure, but I have a Martin, Taylor and a Custom Fender Strat, and saw the Fabulous Mr. T.E. at Balboa Theatre in SD the Maton’s are top notch! Don’t know if I could push my luck with my wife of 19 years but would absolutely love to add a Maton to the family’s collection!
