If Michael Lemmo was to record an instrumental album with music like this, the whole world would buy it, I think it would have the potential to change the musical landscape and usher in a new era of guitar music.

Lemmo needs to be the subject of a podcast, I want to know how he visualizes the fretboard to be able to create those unique sounds, he seems to be seeing it in a different way.

Single coils can do so much , as evidenced by the Jazzmaster Masterblaster , Lemmo , nice use of the looper to demonstrate percussion , rythym , melody , tremolo , chorus and OD. Never been much of a jazzmaster guy myself but in the hands of Lemmo , it rocks , and you just can't get that vintage tone out of newer guitars , so warm and resonant , thanks guys .

If you take the hope and promise I felt as a teenager who was going to spend his life making music, combine it with allure of the world across the Atlantic where such an exciting set of sounds was coming from, blend in the wistfulness that comes from looking back on all that and thinking how it might have been, then cook it all together and distil it into a pure essence...well then my friend, then you'll have the second of these tunes.

I've owned several vintage Jazzmasters and the one I liked the most was a sunburst '64 - mostly because of the thinner neck profile. I'm quite sure there is a little 'bump' on the bottom of the headstock carve which was possibly from a worn template. The '61 and later (small headstock) '65 Jazzmasters I owned didn't have have this.
