Tone-Oh-Licious! I’ve got a 75 Strat too. Also hearty. My only 3-bolt.... Don’t need more than 1 of those. Mine is a sunburst black guard/black PU covers. Maple neck with jumbo re-fret. I can clearly see by the heavy natural wear through the thick snotty poly it was someone’s favorite go to! Sustain for ever, spanky spankster! Plays so good too with those jumbo frets!

Great sounding and beautiful looking guitar., and it's a pleasure to watch a guitar demo when someone plays so well. I was given a '75 strat as payment for a gig that was in pieces because someone had tried to put in a Floyd Rose and failed, and it was in Dhaka so nobody had a bench to put it back together. In any case, brought it back to the States, had it reassembled and since it lived in the tropics for awhile, the natural wood darkened a bit and it's a beast heavy-wise, but it definitely screams like an old strat should!

I found a 1975 Strat in natural at my local favourite guitar store recently here in Australia. So I went searching on line to see what these were like. I then found Lemmo playing this beast. Turns out it was the same one. Needless to say I bought it. What a story this has, being hand selected by Norm and played by the man himself Lemmo.

I purchased a ‘75 from my local shop in Toronto (hardtail, sunburst, maple neck, black p-guard) back in October and I’ve been (now regretfully) on the fence about its sonic vigor and worth until this Lemmo Demo. I’ll never doubt it again. Lemmo, you showcasing one has confirmed why I wanted it in the first place. Don’t let the pontification about 70s strats and flat pole p/ups discourage you from appreciating this era folks. Beautiful pieces of vintage guitar history!

In 75, at 8yrs old, we lived in Inglewood not far from Randy’s Doughnuts 🍩. Remember that big doughnut sign? I was watching Hobo Kelly and Cal Worthington and his dog Spot... Mom took us to the tv studio and they put us on tv! “I see Sonie and Gina and Georgie”.... Good and Plenty candy under the pillow too!

I love my 70’s strats. There was no 5 way switch in the 70’s, sadly. I remember balancing the switch between 2 pickups and hoping it wouldn’t pop back to one of the pickups. But of course I put them in myself, years ago.
