Nick Rice Film anytime man. hey i watched your videos on depression, and i’m really struggling with cutting myself and wanting to end it. how did you get better, and find courage to keep going?

Lincoln Lee sorry to hear that bro. I’ll say that I have tried to end it and it’s not worth it, I promise. The best thing I did to help curb the pain or depression and anxieties of it was to talk to people. Have interactions with people in person. I’ve sought out professional help many times and it really does help. But the biggest thing that has helped me has been coming to the realization that it’s not gonna go away like a cold or flu does. It’ll be there and it’ll flare up and it’ll suck real bad. But becoming self aware and allowing myself to fully realize how I actually got to that spot in the depression has helped too. Tracing my steps back and realizing that I was just over thinking/overwhelmed. Stop, breathe, take your time and then move on. But yeah man, I’m really sorry that you have those thoughts and deal with it. But seek help, please. This world needs you in it, I promise.

Nick Rice Film thank you so much, nick. i’m only 15 and my parents are divorced and it forced me to grow up and be a man at a very early age. and i feel like i need to act like i’m okay to protect my mom and sisters. and when i cut myself, the blood and the pain, they make me feel good. it’s like a high, i’m constantly chasing after it. but yeah, i’ll get help. i won’t like it but i’ll do it. thanks for the reply man, it seriously means the world to me.
