I don’t know why people continue to refer to Igor Kurtoy ‘s “wealth”. Who’s business is it, what does it matter and are you his accountant? It’s poor taste, low class and improper to talk about this. You have no idea what the truth is or should you..and not just you. There are others who do the same thing. You don’t know anymore than I do, what Igor Kurtoy is worth. Hearing you say this was the first time you ever saw Dimash singing sitting down made me think of all the body positions I've seen him sing in. They include standing up, sitting down, lying down on his back, lying down on his front, kneeling down, kneeling down bent forward, kneeling down bent backward, standing up bending forward, standing up bending backward and hanging off the front of the stage. 😂

When I first started listening to DQ, I zeroed in on his most dramatic/powerful songs, and there were a few others that took time to grow on me. We each find our own way of appreciating everything he does. There is likely at least one performance that will disarm any listener. This unmatched talent, along with his humility and benevolence make him an excellent role model. Dimash is decidedly NOT "cool" like other performers, but we are absolutely there for it. His muted ego makes him all the more charismatic.

Dimash has many god-level masterpieces under his belt (including this one), but another singer from his neck of the woods - Diana Ankudinova (Russia), likewise promoted by Igor Krutoy - has a voice that in its different way is even more remarkable. YT is awash with reactions to her, and many reactors are extremely confused as soon as she starts to sing! There is a lot of overlap between their fan-bases and some speak of her - inaccurately in my view - as the female Dimash. Either way, her rise to fame has been even more mercurial. Her masterpieces go back to when she was 14 and even now she is still only 20. It would be nice if you could check her out. The performance of "Can't help falling in love" that she gave when beating eight other professionals to win the 2021 season of ShowMaskGoOn would be a good place to start. The video (10m views) is on her channel (1.3m subs).

As some have already commented, Igor composed this song the year Dimash was born, 1994. Dimash added the "Ave Maria" portion in this performance. What an angelic voice! For a powerful, motivational, operatic performance, watch "Olimpico" on Igor Krutoy channel(with star lights around Dimash in the thumbnail). Igor composed it specifically for Dimash’s vocal range. I also love "Stranger", (over 7 octavs), " Endless Dimensions" (sounds like an electric guitar at the end), and the amazingly beautiful " Ikanaide" in Japanese. Thank you for your great reactions.

His latest Omir which is in his native Kazakh is incredible also. He composed it and released it in appreciation to his fans on his birthday and it kind of goes over his life. It has subs. One you will want to check out for sure is his MV, The Story of One Sky. He composed the music and the story line. He was one of the main actors and sang every note although it will seem like many different people. It is about war and the need for peace and tolerance toward different cultures, religions etc. It is a little intense and hard to watch sometimes but it is brilliant.

This song composed by Igor Krutoy (at piano) with lyrics by Russian poetess Valerya Gorbacheva was written in 1994 specifically for the composer's Creative Evenings series and was originally performed by famous Russian singer Alla Pugachev. It won “Song of the Year” in 1994 and the Ovation prize for “Song of the Decade” in 2001. A number of artists covered this song, including Lara Fabian who rewrote the lyrics for her performance. Dimash performed this song at the 2019 "A Gift for Alla" Concert celebrating the 70th anniversary of Alla Pugacheva in Moscow at the State Kremlin Palace. Dimash’s interpretation of this song is absolutely stunning, showcasing his unbelievable range as well as his exquisite control over the dynamics of the song. The arrangement with Igor at the piano and the string orchestra in the background is both lush and elegant like most of Igor’s compositions. I envy you your journey of discovery of Dimash - I would love to be discovering him all over again - he’s an addiction that I’m still not over. My first experience of Dimash was his iconic SOS performance on the Chinese show “I Am Singer” in 2017 when he was 22 years old. That whole show was fantastic, not only for Dimash but also some of the other competitors - all established, professional Chinese singers. Some of Dimash’s best performances IMO were from his time on Singer - he was mesmerising. After all these years he still manages to surprise - every performance brings something new. This is one of my favorite songs. I started following Dimash on 2019 and everyday I got immersed in his music. Song after song was a disbelief that a man could have such a rage. He was my companion during the pandemic and I missed nothing from the outside world. I had the pleasure to attend two of his concert in 2022, Düsseldorf, and 2023 in Antalya Turkey. Dimash has a definite destiny that comes from above, so he will be around for his appointed time. I’ve never seen such focus and drive in any person, ever before …. that is on the side of God and everything that is good. He is is here to heal and refresh with his impeccable character, talent, abilities, and love and humility. He will add dimensions to music and singing and the education of it like when the Baroque composers did their things. His placement, training, and subsequent introductions, international travels and fame suit his worth, but there is much more than that going on. He is awarded as a National Treasure in Kazakhstan, and loves to show ethnic singing and dancing in his concerts. Have a look at him singing his National Anthem in the introduction to a famous fight in Mexico or LA. The Kazakh fighter did not win, but Dimash won it with his song. It takes my breath away.

Hey there! It is currently 3am over here in the UK but if you like Dimash’s high notes in this song, then I urge you to please check out him singing Olympico from his 2021 Digital Show as he switches from a deep baritone male voice into a high female soprano in a split second & is absolutely breathtaking! I only suggest this particular performance as it’s just him in a studio with his backing singers so the sound quality is far more crystal clear & remains to this day, my all time favourite performance of his yet, the second of which is Across Endless Dimensions. This is an old song composed by Igor Kurtoy. It’s well known in Russia. He rearranged it for Dimash. The first version was very different. At this point, I think most people knew Dimash. He had a few concerts in Russia

Just a heads-up - for me, since 2018 (2017 Chinese Singer competition, SOS), it has been an unending string of being awed, pretty much, with every new performance. This one was number 10, with the 8 songs from the 2017 Singer competition and the Sinful Passion, preceding it. Enjoy your journey! One thing you can count on, you will be awed EVERY time, lol. Igor Krutoy wrote this song for his earlier muse, Russian singer Alla Pugacheva, whose ravaged voice worked well with the Autumn romance theme of the lyrics. I can't help but wonder if when he came out of his (billionaire's) retirement after hearing Dimash's 'Sinful Passion' he was thinking, "What could a voice like this do with 'Love is Like a Dream'?" The spellbinding "Ava Maria, Ava amour" head voice hymn section is not in Igor's prior versions with Pugacheva. To me, this section is a paean to the eternal feminine, that part of our spirit that is eternally loving, healing and generative. It's as if he is saying, "My earthly love for you burns from within with something Celestial, Holy." And it's so damn beautiful it's made me cry more times than I can count. 😭 I also like the way the song shows off so much of Dimash's range in both timbre and pitch (even though, in other live performances he has produced strong whistle tones two octaves higher with strong vibrato and duration). The many ornaments Dimash has added, e. g. the lovely mordents on "I love you," that brilliant starburst finish with its shift to a triumphant major key, and the beautiful last note belted out for a third of a minute truly make the song his own. I would suggest looking up the history of this song,, it was written by the piano player, a very famous composer in Russia then reset to Dimash's voice and range. The Ava Maria in the middle was Dimash's contribution in reverence to the lady the song was written about.

Just love you’re reactions. For screaming you should listen to his official MV and then the live, idol hits, where he raps a section of the song. Dimash never sings a song the same way, he always makes each performance different

Thank you again for another reaction to Dmash. If you really want to hear just how unimaginably soft his voice is, I suggest you great to "Ikanaide". It does let loose some power toward the end of the song, but, if you add the English subtitles you can understand how it relates to the song. Dimash is a master at bringing out the best energy and meanings in anything he sings. I loved the word to this as well. Thank you again.

That was a wonderful reaction. . 🤘❤️‍🔥🤘 I have been a fan since Dec 2018, sure does not seem very long.🤔 It took me years before I got back to listening to other music after my first SOS video but my music taste and knowledge has expanded hugely once I was able to get back out.😂😂 I still need to listen to Dimash daily like some kind of vocal drug🤣🤣 Love is like a Dream is an incredible song. I love the intensity that Dimash shows as he swallows himself into the song/lyrics. He starts so low and yet finishes so high and powerful. The lyrics are so very beautiful and romantic.❤️ 🤔 🤔 Must say that I struggle with an image of you in a bugandy velvet suit🤣🤣🤣 Screaming MV is a great choice for Pop song. It is maybe not one of his most elaborate/artistic music videos but it does show a different side of Dimash. I think you would enjoy some of his traditional folk songs like Samaltau or Durdarez. 🎶 Of course I realize that you will be showered with requests but at some time you will need to see the video with 100's of Dombras all being played at once or few where he mixes electric guitar with traditional instruments.🎶 Thanks for sharing a video with us. 🥰🥰🥰 Hugs from an Ottawa Dear🇨🇦

Saying at the time, if I don't, who will and someone must, billionaire Igor Krutoy, maestro composer, the pianist accompanying him on a piece he composed for his voice. Hearing him some years ago, he said in addition, there is nothing out there for him to sing that will showcase his abilities and talent and came out of semi retirement to compose for and mentor him. Earlier, he mentored the great Lara Fabian as well.

This was a cover of Igor Krutoy's song premiered in 1990 or so by the great and only ALLA PUGACHOVA, a storm of passion on the stages, the Prima donna of Russia who standed her gound against Putin about the Russian invasion to Ukraine. They performed at the "A gift for Alla." concert for the anniversary of Alla Pugacheva in Moscow 6:00 This was the first time most people heard his, now, well known angelic melismas that were called his “MariahCareys” or his “avemarias” by non music specialised reactors. I guess that later evolved in his own version of “Ave Maria”
