A really excellent analysis, thank you! Sometimes I feel like some of the emotion in music comes when the music doesn't go quite where we expect, or breaks away, or comes home via a different path than we are used to. It delights something in our brain. John Barry was so great at that, RIP. Romain too, for certain.
