I've listened to "The Heat of the Sun," numerous times over the past decade or so! These solos are forever etched in my mind! Thank you for this lesson. Simply amazing!

To be honest I haven’t put a lot of effort into it until this year. Adding content is a priority for 2024 and so far the results have shown steady growth.

Wonderful!! How did you practice that picking hand technique in fast runs?
@EricHansenGuitarist3 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Thanks for watching. I use an app called, The Amazing Slow Downer and work up the the riff incrementally from about 60% speed to 100%. I also use the same app to transcribe the solo.

Thanks! Hard to say how long it took but it was many hours of practice for sure.

Wonderful, Is it possible to have the backing track please?
@EricHansenGuitarist Жыл бұрын
Thanks! It's not a backing track . Just some strumming I added behind the solos.

awesome.... do you know where i can find the tab of the candela ?....and, what type of strings do you use?
@EricHansenGuitarist5 ай бұрын
No idea where you can find TAB for Candela. To figure out fast passages I use an app that slows the track down without changing pitch to figure SnF riffs out. I highly recommend The Amazing Slowdowner. You can also use AI to separate the guitars from the track and then slow it down for the ultimate insight. Strings depend on the guitar they are going on. I mainly use La Bella 2001, D’Addario Pro Arte and Luthier L30s. Finding the right tension and tone for each guitar can make a big difference in tone and playability.
