I love ff but can't justify the price at $2200 cad with tax. it should be the exact color of Pelham Blue as the gibson dg 335 and have full gibson hardware i.e the bridge and tail piece should not be epiphone. I can epiphone releasing a newer model of these with a rosewood fret board to try and boost sales.

The guitar sounds great but if only they had made it with a lush dark rosewood fretboard.. £1249.00 for a guitar with an Indian Laurel fretboard is ridiculously not on... I bought an Epiphone Casino with the Indian Laurel fretboard new for £379.00 which is an acceptable price with Laurel... But even at that cheap price, I do not like the way that Indian Laurel looks or feels when playing.

The target customer is a foo fighters’ super-fan and the fandom will justify the purchase. For the average player, this is a terrible purchase. So many other better choices at the price…

@@maier43beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I won’t argue with your statement. My comment was aimed at whether it’s a purchase that makes sense (financially). In MY opinion, if you are saving your hard earned money for a guitar and you are not a foo’s die hard fan, this guitar makes no sense.

@@Rpob Get the Epiphone Shinichi Ubukata ES-355 Custom which has gibson pups and an ebony fretboard, its on sale for £799 at the moment with a hard case
