Timing. Everyone talks about that technique..... listening to him is the finest musical mind of his age. He is a musician of excellence.

i classify myself as a good guitarist, but with matteo i just accept that its like hes playing a different instrument, saw him live in barcelona a few weeks ago and he was simply flawless, just incredible, was so nice to see him in a small venue before in time he blows up to the mainstream

This was a very enjoyable reaction to watch. Matteo is amazing of course but you seem like a really nice guy, great guitarist in your own right and just a pleasure to listen to. Subscribed!

You forgot to say that this piece is improvisation. It's not written. That's the most amazing in Matteo's playing.

The term GOAT is applied to the current super-duper-greatest. For me, for and noawhile it was Jeff Beck..for Awhile maybe Shawn Lane, and now its Matteo on electric, and Yamandu Costa on Nylon 7 string!

I’m always suspicious about guitarists that are obsessed with speed because music isn’t about speed it’s about feeling. Eddie Van Halen wasn’t a speed freak, he was a feelings guitarist, his artificial harmonics, dive bombs and fretboard tapping all contributed to a feeling and mood. But he could play fast if the composition required him to 🎶🎸
@FaanaMusic22 күн бұрын
Yeah it's always a combination of both and there's no "the right way", Eric Clapton is Mr. Slow hands, but he's bluesy feeling and incredible songwriting makes up for it, just recently reacted to Gary Moore, who has both, technique and the feel, but ultimately the art is about mixing the skill with the expression in a new and cool way.

Jimi died in 1970. You can’t compare the guitar playing in 1970 and in 2024 : 54 years later ! That’s silly. What Jimi has done in just 4 years it’s just incredible. This young guitarist is amazing for sure ! Love it. But I’ll have forever the biggest respect for Jimi. Matteo loves Hendrix as you can see : kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqHbi394Yr1gqsksi=YK9V_MVeUirX-N_2
