I've always liked Vox's modeling amps. Nearly got a VX1 or VTX120. You can hear it's pretty damn good.

I own the boss katana air and had the Marshall code 25. The VOX sounds better, but has limitations. I need control over the mids.

The Cambridge 50, which this is, sounds great, and you really don't miss the mids control. For the money it's an a near perfect gigging tool.

Not gonna lie sounds pretty decent but I always felt like when my VT30 was next to ANY of my tube amps you could feel the stiffness. It never translates to recording but the feel when plugged in. You know.

I 100% agree. No one really knows it’s not tube beside yourself and other tone nuts. But there’s definitely a difference and once it can hear the difference, it’s tough to unhear it.

Its a Vox amp and the worst amp model is the AC30TB. Not a good thing.
