I'm not sure if you've been following them the last 4 years but they've been very busy with side projects. Joey the guitar player with the nit beanie just got off touring with Elle King as her lead guitar player. Eric started a project called E.B. the younger he's touring now, some of the band is in another side project called the Fieros and right after touring ANTIPHON they created a supper group called bnqt band featuring Fran Healy (Travis), Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand), Eric Pulido (Midlake), Ben Bridwell (Band of Horses) and Jason Lytle (Grandaddy), backed by other members of Midlake: Jesse Chandler, Joey McClellan and McKenzie Smith. Hope fully they will be rapping up some of these projects so they can get back into the studio with Midlake in mind.
