So close your eyes For that's a lovely way to be Aware of things your heart alone was meant to see The fundamental loneliness goes whenever two can dream a dream Together You can't deny, don't try to fight the rising sea Don't fight the moon, the stars above, don't fight me The fundamental loneliness goes whenever two can dream a dream Together When I saw you first, the time was half past three When your eyes met mine it was eternity By now we know the wave is on it's way to be Just catch the wave, don't be afraid of loving me The fundamental loneliness goes whenever two can dream a dream Together When I saw you first, the time was half past three When your eyes met mine it was eternity By now we know the wave is on it's way to be Just catch that wave, don't be afraid of loving me The fundamental loneliness goes whenever two can dream a dream Together Together Together

I'm trying to use Gmaj scale focusing um C Lydian but, Im not sure about it. Someone for give me some tips?
@Cesarjacquot2 ай бұрын
Not absolutely sure why you would do that. You can play Dmajor (Ionian) over D until Aminor, then think D7 as a V of G (which it is), then play Gmin6 (Gdorian) over Gm6, which can be seen as a IV- of D, then dominant 7th chord until D-7. That’s a bit « long story short » but here it is. Does it help ?
@geekwalker12 ай бұрын
You can play anything that your ear is bent to. you could just play through the changes with a scale idea for each chord it would take a while but you run the risk of sounding like loads of other players.

Quelle gammes peut on jouer sur le F#7 et B7? Je ne vois pas quoi jouer a pars les arpeges. Merci
@Silverado19954 жыл бұрын
On F#7 tu peu jouer les notes F#,G#,A#,B#(C),C#,D#,E this is known as the F# lydian dominant scale ou le C# melodic minor scale. C’est la même (my French is rusty)
@Silverado19954 жыл бұрын
Aussi sur F#7 play F# half-whole diminish scale F#,G,A,A#,C,C#,D#,E
@Silverado19954 жыл бұрын
On B7 tu peu faire B mixolydian B,C#,D#,E,F#,G#,A

Jouer aussi la gamme penta mineure blues de f#, comme si ct le 1/4 d'un blues...
@Cesarjacquot2 ай бұрын

Hi! Can I use this backing track in a Instagram video with me playing over it?
Hello, very nice playback my friend. I Have a suggestion. According to Jobin The B Section Goes. |Gm7 |C/Bb | Am7 | % | Fm7 | Bb/Ab | Gm7 A7sus4b9 | :) Now it will sound exactly like the recordings. Have a great day.
@guitareimprovisation5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment ! Yes, I had to make some choices concerning those chords, some of them differ from some original recordings. I don't know where you found these informations (any video ?) but the recordings don't completely agree with what you say. On the 1967 Jobim version it's |Gm7 |C/Bb | Am7 | % | Bb7sus4 | Bb/Ab | Gm7 A7b13 | , and on Daniel & Luiza Jobim it's FMaj7/A instead of Am7, according to my ears. I chose to stay on inverted II V I for easier improvisation, maybe that's a bad choice, time will tell :-)
