Love it Michael (and the Billy Strings hat). I wasn’t familiar with this band but love them! Guitargate is like a grad school version of Spotify for discovering new music . Dead South remind me a lot of Robert Earl Keane or if Los Lobos & Mumford and sons had a baby…..😊

Amazing how the right three notes can be so memorable - that E, G, A walk in has been in my head for two weeks since I first heard this - right here on Guitargate. Absolutely my favorite song I heard this year. Also Michael great to hear you reinforce melody. Heard the GOAT Tommy Emmanuel saying the same think in his interview with Rick Beato.

It could be American history but they are from Saskatchewan same province (state) as Colter Wall and talk about the CPR which is the Canadian Pacific Railway and then the Yukon gold rush. A song with a story, couple of details in the lyrics, basic but great banjo playing and vocals harmonic thats one of a kind. I've been watching you and would love to see your reaction on that song.
