Great song from a great album, and the cover, uuh, oh well, at least they tried lol. Does anybody remember this song from the last Herbie movie made? That movie also had "Jump" by Van Halen, "Born to be wild" and "Bad to the bone" I believe lol.

More Than A Feeling on GH1 as a cover did way better than the original version. Same for Carry On Wayward Son and Free Bird on GH2. Sorry to the artists if they see this comment.

While most GH1 covers are perfectly fine, this one is no exception, but the vocals sound off (of course), and even the Guitar too. The rest is more accurate.

Originals are much more expensive to license than covers.

Some artists just didn't want their songs to be used or to give out their masters [cough Zeppelin] But early on Harmonix did want to have this 'story' of a cover band so they used covers, they prob could have had some masters early on [as with something like Fire up and later John The Fisherman and Stop] but due to choice they didn't.
