Im a guitarist and i played bASSball with a bASS. I broke it, but it was the perfect size bat. Hit a single down the line to second bASS, they got me out on the run to first. The strings were funky looking, they were the only things keeping the bASS together.

I honestly hate learning any instruments. There's always someone that shows up and ruins my day. I want to learn guitar, bass, and drums so I can make my own music, obviously guitar is a pretty steep hill to climb. Then I picked up a bass guitar and came up with a nice little lick only for some dude to grab another bass guitar, sit next to me without saying a word, and he fucking played my lick, but he added slaps and all sorts of tricks to it and I basically quit right there. Same thing happened with drums, I was looking for a cheap electric kit and I played a super simple beat only for some asshole to play it better.

A standard guitar or electric guitar has its strings tuned as E-A-D-G-B-E, and has six strings normally. A bass normally has 4 strings, tuned the same way as the top 4 strings of a guitar but an octave lower in pitch. So basses are what typically play the bassline (the supportive lower notes) in a song. Some basses have 5 strings like the one in the video which typically have an even lower string at top tuned to a B (BEADG). They both have completely different musical roles in a band
