One thing to remember about touhou. Its a decree regarding the IP from ZUN, the creator, that he has yet to officially rescind. Fanon is canon.

Saying you've seen her or she seems familiar is about right. She's easily one of the most popular characters (As well as her theme) in the franchise Pretty much always a top 10 popular character since her debut in 2002. It's even more impressive since her official appearances in the series are very limited (She's shown up in her Debut game, a spin off game, some very minor appearances in manga and, recently, another spinoff where she actually played a major role in the story). Due to this, there's tons of fan work of her and her jeweled wings are an extremely notable aspect of her that is unique and memorable that makes her recognizable even if you've never taken much interest in the series. As with a few other Comments have said, minusT's Touhou3D videos are superb.

Speaking of entering Touhou, it's absolutely NECESSARY to react to some of 暁Records music videos! For example, to relatively recent "Rock 'n' Rock 'n' Beat" or "Necromantic". Perfect harmony of amazing vocal character acting, catchy music and colorful animations between the cute, the epic and the dark sometimes. Turning on English subtitles is recommended, it hits different.

Touhou is a top-down shooter that fills your screen with bullets that you will need to dogde and shoot back at the enemies. In Touhou lore there are a lot of horror themes. This song and character is from Touhou 6 - Scarlet Devil Mansion. Flandre the blonde vampire in the video is locked in a basement under said Mansion and the extra boss for the game. She is an innocent little girl who doesn't understand how to keep her strength and power in check whenever she is playing with other. Which result in her often killing them and made a comment of her friends are broken.

She's getting more and more canon appearances lately. We now know she quite enjoys blowing things up. She even prides herself on being a "God of Destruction". She's also can control her power quite well. She can hold people and things she wants just fine, and She just likes it down there. She's still got an adorable, energetic personality, though. Regardless of personality, this song is actually a direct reference to the implication that she's U.N Owen from Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None " The hanging especially in particular.

To remain on this girl's, Flandre Scarlet, theme song, I'd suggest you "Bloody Dancin' Party Night～Squeeze and Pop!" by Akatsuki Records The leitmotiv is the same as this one, since they both use the same theme song as the base for the cover, but it goes on a completely different direction!

Since you liked Bad Apple!!, the End of Daylight PV by Alstroemeria Records is also a good one. It’s also a PC-98 era song of the same name that got a cool remix and b/w video but not an MMD. I’ve seen a couple different fandoms make there own version of it

So after thinking about it for a bit. I think going into this with an Equal Medium could be just as good. You remember IOSYS right. The ones who helped Marine with her originals. Well they were originally a Doujin Music group for Touhou and have a bunch of well known songs you could dive into for some Touhou music.

General rule of thumb... almost every character in the Touhou franchise has a theme song associated with them. Some of them have multiple theme songs. Due to this, Touhou remixes videos that portrays a single character is typically a remix of the characters original theme song. In this case, we have Flandre Scarlet with the remix of her theme song, U.N. Owen was Her. If I was to recommend a Touhou song, I would actually suggest listening to the original game tracks. I recommend listening to a few of the OSTs from the games. This song is a remix of a theme from Touhou 6 called "U.N. Owen was her?" (although I personally don't like the original that much). A cool and underrated theme I'd like to suggest is Memento of the Avaricious Beast (the version from Touhou 19). As for fanmade content I suggest minusT's Touhou 3D videos, and another PV called Unconscious Requiem.

So, this character is called Flandre Scarlet, she is locked by her older sister, Remilia Scarlet in the basement because she has a dangerous ability to destroy everything. This is a fanwork, she isn't actually a psycho, she stays underground willingly (with her power, she can break out anyway) also she is a vampire

Did you know that Hololive actually put out an album of Touhou covers called Gensokyo Holoism a few years ago? Marine is a pretty big Touhou fan after all. Also, I recommend 嘔吐、又。(meaning "Vomiting, again") by Diao ye Zong featuring nayuta. You're actually already familiar with nayuta's voice, just not under that name.

Also a very basic explanation of Flandre Scarlet (the character of this theme) Younger Sister of Remelia Scarlet (the one you mention hearing ASMR from). Flandres' Primary power is pure destruction. She has the power to destroy practically anything by targeting the "eye" of the object/entity. She's known to have one of the most terrifying powers along with her sister who has the power to control Fate. Despite how most fandom translate her, She's actually fairly docile and doesn't really know much about the outside word due to being held in the Mansion for hundreds of years. But Fans have turn her into basically a Yandere type character. When all she really wants is someone to play with and know more about the outside world. Not to say its bad though. The beauty of Touhou is that some character are vague enough in personality that fans have created more in-depth characters that almost or sometimes feel like they are now just Canon. Also the weapons she posses is the Sword/Wand Lævateinn. Known for in Norse Mythos to be the main weapon in Ragnarok that will burn the entire world.

My Touhou lore is pretty rusty but what I do know about this character is that she is a vampire who was trapped in the basement of her mansion by her sister because she has a very destructive power she doesn’t know how to control. Other than that I don’t know because I didn’t attempt her level since it’s in the harder extra stage, which is a harder level from the main levels of the game. If you want to check out animations that aren’t as music based then there is a fan made Touhou anime series you can find on KZbin with fansubs that follows the story of the games with some minor changes. There are also 3D animations by Minus T that shows you the boss fights, the patterns of the bullets in the game, and also the themes or theme remixes of the boss they are fighting.

Iirc Flandre isn't really "trapped" in the basement since she can just destroy the door whenever she feels like it, but since all of her needs are being attended to down there she doesn't really want to leave.

But Koishi isn't canonicaly implied to have done anything, we at least know Flandre eats cakes made of people. Also that she thinks Touhou is a coin operated arcade cabinet instead of a computer game. (Not to mention all the references to her being the killer U.N Owen from Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None ") As for Koishi, she had a phone based urban legend in a world without phones and just wanted to scare someone. Koishi hasn't done anything wrong. She's unconscious and controls the unconscious, but she seems quite happy as she is. And since that happiness is coming from her unconscious mind it's probably genuine. She's so blunt with people if she actually wanted to kill someone im sure they'd be informed of it. 2:59

Idk why people so often recommends this one, "U.N Owen Was Her " is an iconic track but overrated compared to the others. It's also unlike other Touhou tracks. That's what it's known for, it's strange, creepy and mysterious, a pretty bad example of the style. I'd honestly recommend an arrange of Emotional Skyscraper, or better yet since they are asking for a guitarist, "Idoltatirize World "

Keiki's theme is awesome it give me goosebump and Last Remote is second. I think alot poeple recomend this song is because of Flandre. I jump into 2hu rabbit hole because minusT's Human vs Yukari around 2015, but before that I even know blonde anime girl with diamond-like wings is a Yandere even I dunno touhou. Maybe it is not a great representative for touhou or even Flandre's "character", but alot of people more familiar to Flandre. I dunno it's just from my experience.

@@bagussctr77 if you want to get technical this video is a reference to Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None " because the killer in that story is U.N Owen and Flandre's theme is "U.N Owen Was Her.!?" Furthermore her most beautiful Spellcard is titled "And Then There Will Be None " The plot of the book is basically that someone they end up calling U.N Owen invites people over. (they call them this due to decoding the names they find on their invitations and coming up with U.N Owen, /Unknown) The Killer U.N Owen is reenacting the children's rhyme "Ten Little Soldiers" The Last two lines of the version used in the book are. "Two little soldiers playing with a gun, one shoots the other, and then there was one" And the last line is "One little Soldier sitting all alone, one hangs their little self And Then There Were None " These are the important lines because Marisa recognizes the Spellcard Name "And Then There Will Be None " from the rhyme when she beats Flandre, and tells her she recognizes it. Flandre says she was at two little soldiers playing with a gun. She says Marisa was supposed to Die by the Bullet. Then Marisa says she's good at dodging and that if she succeeded she'd need to hang herself. Then Flandre says she'd be alone when Marisa leaves anyway. Finally Marisa tells her she got the wrong version of the poem and that the last little Soldier gets married to Reimu. Anyway all these elements imply Flandre was U.N Owen 8 killings in. This is probably physically impossible though. Zun just liked the book.
