Loved this band. I was a regular at the Bridge house in the late 1970's. The video is great, but the feeling of "being there" was special.

I've heard Dave Edwards playing with a band called Uncle Sam. They were a sleepy, rather so-so cover band before he joined them. They played at a pub called The Crown Inn in Hornchurch (for the first time) and it was really something special.

I was at the Bridge House when that Thunderbird Bass Steve is playing fell over. Their last number, they walked off stage. Steve must have been pissed because he just didn't secure it against his amp properly. As he walked away...SLIDE & BANG went the headstock!. Walking back on for an encore, Steve picked up the T-Bird & the headstock was waving about in the breeze (so to speak). His face was that of pure misery. Like a true pro,he played on with his 4001 Ricky, glancing at the stricken T-Bird

Wow... does anyone know if they released an album / live album? Where can I (try to) get it??

There’s a Bridghouse live LP , with RDB on it. It’s called “A week at the bridge” and very hard to find, it’s a double LP. Trust it helps

Great! I was there. What happened to the bass player and drummer?
@JennyTools2 жыл бұрын
Don't know what happened to drummer Micky Harris. But I heard bass player Steve Goff had become a bit of a recluse and had some problems. A real shame as he was a really nice bloke as well as a great bass player.

Hi. I'm Micky's son. Sad to say he passed away last year after retiring to Spain. Great to see this video though.
