Good review Rob. Could this be the start of a new element in your YT channel? I hope so.

I like the fact that it keeps the guitar away from your body to help with sustain, seems like a positive, perhaps, unintentional effect.

and protects the lacquer

Interesting video. Eric Skye uses a similar thing called a NeckUp, when I searched similar things also exist called a DeOro and a Tenuto. I've been thinking about using one of these as I suspect my guitar playing posture is pretty terrible!

Thank you. There are lots of different kinds, some more successful than others. I think this guitarlift has plenty of flexibility in terms of positioning to be one of the more successful ones, but goodness me, that price!

@@robbiejguitarist £125, When a bag of crisps costs £1.75, I think it puts it in perspective.

I still think it's money very well spent. For one, it improves my playing, secondly it genuinely makes my guitar sound better. As I say in the video, there is no sponsorship here- I had to pay for both guitar lifts. In fact I wish there was an easier way to try them out, as I think the crossover model would have been a good compromise. In an era when some people will pay that sort of money on a capo, I actually think it's a no brainer.

Just use a strap

I don’t have any strap buttons, can’t get the right angle for my left hand, don’t get the advantage of the guitar not in contact with my body, classical guitarist would never use a strap.
