George Lynch was a huge influence of mine in the '80s and '90s. In 2003, my band opened for Lynch Mob in North Hollywood and I got to see George's guitars backstage up-close and personal. Good times.

@@stu-j I don't believe that is correct. He signed w/ ESP in 86'. Which was his ESP kamikaze series guitars. However, his first tiger series guitar was his own "Frankenstrat" from Charvel parts etc that he had done. I also believe he had a Kramer Tiger series before ESP signed him. I also believe GL was ESP's first endorsee The skull and Snakes guitar was the Lynch Mob Wicked Sensation Album cover art from 1990.

i think the hockey stick head was created by Kramer for their superstrats in the early 80's but Gibson also had a very similar looking headstock on their Explorers since 1958. i first remember them watching EVH with his 5150 Kramer Frankenstrat with that iconic banana/hockey stick headstock dolled up in Red White and Black paint.

I bought one of the LTD Sunburst Tiger guitars new in 2001. I put in a Duncan Screamin Demon in the bridge and a Dimarzio YJM in the neck. I also had a real Flord Rose installed. George Lynch signed the back of the headstock and doddled his skull and cross bones logo. It came with a really nice LTD case also. Wish I never sold it.

Got one of these beauties about 27 years ago. Travelled two and a half hours up the road to Inverness in Scotland to buy a Jackson tobacco sunburst that I’d seen whilst I was working there, went into the shop and saw the Tiger hanging on the wall, cost more but I just had to have it. Glad I’d been doing a pile of overtime.😂Awesome guitar!!! I’d never heard about George Lynch so obviously had to get his albums. First time I heard Memory Jack and then Love power from the Mama Head I was blown away!! Still got the guitar, never to be sold😍

nice score!! in the late 80s the Lynch signature ESPs were $$$$. IIRC they had a 3 way toggle and a duncan screamin deamon HB. I had that PU in a Japanese ibanez roadstar. Moderate -low output, really squawky mids. Tube screamer as a boost infront of a tube amp for screaming 80s tones. I was using a carvin x100B combo at the time.

That's an amazing guitar. I actually bought one brand new in, I believe 1989. My X husband actually stole it year's ago. It was an ESP, George Lynch purple tiger. Then later, my X was working at a music store, called Midnight Music, where it was actually signed by George Lynch himself. Idk what it would be worth. Later he moved from Pittsburgh to Los Vegas, where he is claiming it was stolen. I really miss my guitar. I wish I had it back. My understanding is that you can still buy the ESP guitar and if that's the case, I will be asking for him to purchase me a new one. They are running around $5000.00.

Keep up the great content Max! Is it possible if you can please do a review of this awesome little rogue guitar? I don't see any reviews oof this guitar. It's the Rogue Rocketeer RR50 7/8 scale guitar that features a 23.25 inch scale, a bass wood body, one master volume knob, no pickup switch, or tone knob, and it comes with a gig bag, guitar cable, guitar picks, and a strap. I highly recommend you review this guitar. I am going to get my hands on this instrument that goes on sale for $59.99 since its original price is $89.99. Sounds like a pretty good deal. The higher-up models, the Rogue RR100, and RR200 both have the HSS pickups similar to a strat, a 5-way blade pickup switch, and a whammy bar. But the RR200 only has the push/pull feature on the tone knob. The RR100 doesn't have that feature. But both higher-up models have the 2 single-coil pickups, and a humbucker pickup. The low budget RR50 guitar only has one pickup. I'd like to see a review of this guitar on your channel. You can purchase this guitar at the following link. Please don't just do the review for me. But for younger guitarists younger than me who want to get their hands on a budget guitar that's less than $100. But this guitar is worth a steal in the end. Even though this is a budget guitar, I'm going to get my hands on this instrument since I travel places. This way I don't lug around a heavy full-size guitar. I can take this little beast to a friend's house. Gonna get the Line-6 pocket pod, so I can use it with this little mini guitar. You won't regret getting this guitar in your hands. When you do a review of it, let me, and the rest of the guitarists out there know how it sounds. When I get mine soon, I'm going to get heavy gage strings for it, so i can use this guitar in Drop C tuning. If not, might get the Digitech drop polyphonic pitch shifter pedal to fix the problem. So I can lower the pitch of the guitar by using the pedal while this guitar is in Drop D tuning. Sounds like this guitar is worth a steal though. Highly recommend you pick this little guy up and do a review of it. Never played this before. So I'm reaching out to one of the best talented you-tuber guitar reviewers out there. But please do this review for all the youngsters out there if they're not able to pick up a $200 guitar. At least I'm getting this when it goes on sale for $60 on guitar center's website, or on Musicians friend. If not, might just jump up to the higher model, the RR100 model since the RR200 goes for about $200. You'll thank me later Max. Hope this helps man. Check out the link below where you can buy this little beast. Sounds pretty awesome to play metal on. Gonna test this with my Peavey Vypyr VIP 2 when I get my hot little hands on this mini guitar! You will be satisfied with this instrument when you do a review on it after you get it in your hot little hands. This is just not for kids. But for adults like us too who don't want to lug around a heavy guitar. At least this is light weight, and portable to travel with. You can buy the guitar here on amazon. www.amazon.com/dp/B004GH8QMM/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_0JlJEbZB00XMB

Happy for you Maxx that you've found another collector's item type guitar, a blast from the past that you and others really like. While on the one hand I think it's "kinda cool," it's not for me (and was a teenager on the 80's). A little too "busy" of a finish for me, and I don't care for the highly angled headstock (like those on the Jackson guitars). However, I lllllllllllllove my Wolf LP honeyburst and Firefly white with black trim Firefly double cut. I think it's great that you have such wide and diverse set of personal tastes in guitar aesthetics.
