Brings me back to 8 -9 years old all over again. I would often hear most of these on my transistor radio, my mom's kitchen radio in morning as I was getting ready for school. Often, my brothers and I would call the radio station and request that they play some of these songs. Of course, back then, most of these were on AM radio, way before AM became talk radio only. What a great, simpler time where people bought 45s and 33s, listened to the crackle of the stereo needle on the record as we waited for the song to start, watched American Bandstand, Soul Train, watched 3 channels on TV, and wore outfits that resembled the time. Anyone who grew up during this time knows what I mean.

Listened to this last night and slept very well. I was looking for something last night while talking to God. I said to him, I want to find something soft. He asks me, what is soft? I said, I don't know, will tell you when I find it. I said I can tell you what it is not. It's not loud and I can't remember now the rest that I said to him. Lol And I don't remember all the words to these songs either but I know them. Kind of like the Bible. I don't remember them all but know them. Soft is something you feel but can't see. Like God. The first half I listened to while taking a bath, the other half in bed. The neighbors fought and the softness drowned them out and I felt very calm. One of these songs is played out of tune and I thought, so perfectly imperfect that it is beautiful anyways just like us, as when you are weak, you are strong as you are surrounded by God. Jesus surrounded the weak making them instantly stronger by his presence. This is why God tells us not to worry or fear death. As we die our bodies become weaker and our spirit and souls become stronger, preparing us for the day of the Lord. The window was open and I imagined the music going out there being carried by the wind to all the broken people being blessed by God even though they didn't realize it. The curtains moved softly as the breeze carried away all the worries and sadness from our hearts and was replaced by Gods love. Then I slept, the whole night and I knew God was there. Many blessings to everyone today. God loves you. Listening to this again now. Hearing the guitar reminds me of this cd metal guitar stand that I have been wanting to convert into a real functioning guitar. It's in the shape of a skeleton. It would have only 3 strings as I was once told you can take 3 chords and play any song. If I could do this in the way it is intended, my thoughts were to donate it to the Legion in my area and that when it was played it would signify that when we remove all skeletons from our closets that we are left with the memory and love of people. It is not enclosed like a classic guitar and would not be. The notes would flow freely in the air and space that it was played in. One of my biggest dreams would be to do this. This music 🎼 inspires me to want to do this. The 3 strings idea is a memory of this group I met once called The Piano Man, reminder to not name a band after yourself alone as there are others in your band. The bass player had a guitar with 3 strings and I took an immediate interest to him and the other guitar player. I asked the bass player if he could play doing upstrokes. He wasn't really sure what I meant at first and I explained and then he played with the upstroke technique. He later out in the parking lot gave me one of their cd's. Every song played in this video is thought provoking and just at the right moment. I hear chords from songs that he is not even trying to play. I watched other artists do this while painting sceneries. As they paint I would see images and an already scenery taking place and realizing the artist did not see it but some watching did. If you listen to the music in just the right way you will hear a few chords to other songs not intended by this person playing the instrument but intentional just the same.
