NY Mutsuki is used not only for blue but for red content as well. She's really versatile and will help everyone. If you're new, pull her you won't regret it. NY Aru is not used much (only in one raid Chesed for now) so it's a waifu pull imo. NY Kayoko is blue hypercarry buffer. Without solid blue dps she won't be so useful but in long term she's a must have. NY Haruka is a solid backline, especially if you don't have Himari (in some content Haruka is even better than her) NY Serikat fell off really hard so it's a skip. TLDR pull priority for new players: Mutsuki > Haruka > Kayoko.

Mutsuki>Kayoko>Haruka is the correct order. Haruka should never be above Kayoko she is far too niche in what she does and is the type of unit you don’t care to use unless you’re doing torment level content. She’s great as a character for follow up teams but for your standard meta teams in most raids she’s not in any of them while Kayoko is in pretty much every mystic team now.

As someone who started playing yesterday, I checked tier list and Kayoko seemed like must have, But I thought that these tier list are usually based on opinions of people that hit the end game so it doesn't mean that this character must be good for new players and I was lucky enough that first video I pickes was yours, because you explain why certain characters may be actually no that good for new players. It's also good for me that Mutsuki is better for new players, because I like her design more. Also wanted to ask if there's any info if Kisaki is ever going to be playable or when if it's confirmed because I basically started playig this game for her. Also when is Shun(small) rerun

Honestly for new players it's not too much just happy face and match colors hoping for ako, himari, mika and summer hoshino After story or around level 70-80 is where you need to worry about meta and clearing the higher difficulty boss levels

I personally regret not pulling for Kayako. Then again, I was literally blind playing in JP and didn't know if she's good or not. Now that almost a year has passed, I have over 75k saved and she will come home!

Hi I'm New player looking for guide when pulling a character, in this game do I need more than one copy of a character everytime I pull (basically go for make 5* character), or is it enough with one copy to make character usable? (Are they good with only 3* you can raise them gradually)

You don't need extra copies of anyone bc you can buy their elephs for 5* in the shop or farm hard stages. People pull extra copies if they're low on eligma or just want to go all in until the spark (200 pulls)

Hate when a must-pull banner character isn't limited. If NY Kayoko was limited, I'd feel better about pulling for her. Since she isn't, there's always gonna be a little voice saying "well, you could've just got her on the standard banner"

That's true, but on the other hand, with the pool of standard characters only getting larger and larger, it becomes increasingly more difficult On that note I hope they implement a wishlist system at some point

I get how you feel but then I remind myself of the dozen+ perma characters that I still haven't gotten cause I just get dupes instead and then I feel better about it. Even double sparked on Mika and wasn't able to get alot of them. Just remember that the character pool keeps expanding it just gets harder and harder to get a character off banner.

NY Kayoko isn't really needed until you're ready to tackle Torment For Insane, you can easily borrow her and 1 team clear if you have the other relevant units

From the looks of it, upgrading NYAru's sub skill reduces the debuff it gives her which makes stacking all 6 bad deeds more viable (she'd take about 80% more damage with 3 bad deeds and an un-upgraded skill versus 32% more with 6 bad deeds with it maxed out otherwise) She looks like her gimmick is charging up during the first stages and then blowing her load once she reaches a boss enemy.

Normal Kayoko is my favorite character since the beginning, I want her NY version but as a F2P, it's hard to pull a perma character T.T and I'm NOT lucky on 6% banner or normal rates banner because I only got dupe even if I miss more than 20 characters.... Maybe I'll try some multi !!!!

No you don't. The priority for you should be NY Kayoko/Mutsuki > NY Aru > NY Haruka > NY Serika Despite GR said NY Serika is good for new player, I wouldn't recommend go all in just for her, and Haruka is niche. DPS in this game take a lot of investment ( NY Mutsuki/Aru in this case ). It's highly recommend to pull for someone who can be used in various situations, and supports usually doesn't require too much investment to be good. NY Mutsuki is extremely good as blue DPS and she's limited so maybe you would want to spark her.

NYMutsuki is the priority. NYHaruka is a niche unit that can replace Himari in some content but isnt a must. NYKayoko if you want to future proof Blue raids, but definitely not a must for new players. Iroha rerun banner should come in a few weeks, I’d definitely save for her.

Kind of a bad analysis for Aru NY, she is not even used in the same scenarios as the replacement units you mention in 9:08, she is kind of an AOE unit, the ones you mention are ST, so no comparison at all

Account bricking doesn't really exist but not pulling NyKayoko is the closest you can get to bricking your account imo. If you're casual/waifu player though just pull whoever you like the most❤
