Hey! Thanks for the video! I have a question hope you can help me: Is there any way to record audio and video simultaneously with the mobile, for example in a jam session, while you are recording on the tascam? I have tried with the usb but it is not possible thanks 🙏🏻

right now I do plan some investments and I do swallow any review on Model 12. Thanks for your content. Maybe not long but very compressed. Would you mind answering me one question: how much of functional gain does it have for Dynamic Mics? ON the specification specs there is a table on the bottom saying these: Maximum Gain: 74dB (MIC to MAIN OUT) 54dB (MIC to INSERT OUT) 74dB (MIC to SUB OUT) 75dB (MIC to AUX 1/2 OUT) 24dB (USB/SD to MAIN OUT) Maybe you could explain it a little bit. Where these numbers come from as you can see on the gain knobs there is something about +50 (I do assume it's dBs)? Many thanks in advance for the answer :) Good tips..

Great question! I love the Model 12. You are correct, 50db of input gain - the other measured maximums are measured with the faders maxed out. So with input gain set to +50(mic preamp) and the channel fader and main fader both set to Unity the output would be 50db. But with the faders raised all the way, you get the approximate boost of gain noted on the chart you found. Stay tuned to the channel! I’m working on making a course all about the tascam model 12!
