Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Dracula's Castle on guitar

I've been a Castlevania fan for a long time but for some reason I didn't play Symphony of the Night until recently. It didn't take long for me to realize how awesome this game is. I think this song is perfect for the beginning of the game when you enter the castle of Dracula. Gets you excited the moment you start to play it!

You should listen to the Saturn version, pretty much the same but before the song loops again, there is what I would describe as a "crash" of guitar that plays a single note for a few seconds. For some odd reason, I have yet to hear anyone add that "crash" to their version. If someone were to do that, it would be perfect. Because that "crash" just makes it that much more epic!

How was Symphony of the Night omitted from the PlayStation Classic?

Because the game was being released on the ps4 as part of the Castlevania Requiem bundle with Symphony of the night and Rondo of Blood.

My point was just that had the PS classic included better games like SotN, crash bandicoot, Spyro, a couple tomb raider games, it would’ve sold better. Within less than a year it’s price went down from $100 to $60. I bet if stores even started giving it away as a promo (spend over X amount of dollars, get a free PS classic) people still wouldn’t have wanted it.

I believe the PS Classic had licensing issues. Dunno if it applied to this game in particular. Would’ve definitely made a good inclusion if they had to omit DualShock controllers (though I find that analog sticks can make a lot of the button combos in this game easier). The PS Classic was such a half-assed disappointment though. They couldn’t even get the regions consistent?

I agree, sotn and spyro not being in ps classic is a huge letdown. But persona, tekken, rayman and mgs still make it worth it. Also the other games are not that bad. Jumping Flash is awesome imo.

Stupidity (by Sony) and greed (by Konami mostly, as they wanted to carry on selling it separately). Although it's an easily solved problem with a cheap USB memory stick and Autobleem. My PS Mini is a beast of a console now with Symphony Of The Night, all the Tomb Raiders, Crash Bandicoots, Resident Evils, Final Fantasies and others running on it.

I need to play this game sometime, I really enjoyed CV1 and 3 and I've always heard this is one of the best. I always dig CV music, great job on this classic song. If you're ever lookin for more CV to cover, Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge gets overlooked but i think Praying Hands and New Messiah are two of the best CV tune out there.
