Exactly. He is still not in form and going in the WCC with a recent loss is a disadvantage. Gukesh showed he is a monster right now, Wei Yi is super strong, and how Gukesh found only moves so short of time, wow just wow. When Ding cant get back his old form, he doesnt stand a chance. Its strange, but Ding wasnt even in top form when he became WC...

Worth to notice a few participants at the Olympiad pointed out C-Squared as their favourite chess podcast in their short interviews on the Chessbase channel. Like Ivan Cheparinov and Jessy February, for example. 🙂
@golendorfjules18388 күн бұрын
Two things, one, this podcast can only be great with fabi, Christian does not represent anything people want to see or know about. Two, fabi is way too deep in real chess he does not have the time for the podcast to be great. So yeah best podcast I beg to differ, it's just centered around fabi who is a shy reserved guy and doesn't want to talk much. All chess podcasts are extremely boring to be honest, it's just chess interview of players or it's OMG BIG CHEATING DRAMA MUST WATCH MUST CLICK.
